- On April 27, 2024, for the first time in five years, two lead cars of Taiwan's "EMU3000" intercity express train will each be loaded onto a special trailer and run 3.3 km round trip from the main gate of Hitachi, Ltd.'s Kasado Works to the south exit of Kudamatsu Station.
This year, the manufacturing of 600 "EMU3000" intercity express cars for Taiwan will be completed and the final shipment will be made, so this unveiling was also an expression of gratitude to the local community.

感謝拍攝製作分享喔 這EMU3000新編組也是難得在下松站進行遊街活動讓大家看EMU3000的樣子 這活動也滿不錯的 下次這編組也會在台灣開始試運轉在過幾個月也會開始上路運轉了 日本朋友有來台灣旅遊時也有機會在看到此編組^^
EMU3000には台湾旅行で２回乗ったことが有ります、大変乗り心地の良い車両です、私は利用したことが有りませんがビジネスシートも有り時間によっては弁当が付きます。この車両は地震で有名になってしまった花蓮港に陸揚げされるものと思います。

Not to change the subject but how well Toyotas are doing in ur country I know u guys tried to kick Toyotas out of ur country by promoting EVs from China. Are garbage from China working well for u guys I hope.

It looks like they just lift the train onto road bogeys with tyres and that’s all. No resting the whole train on a flatbed. Such an elegant solution.

Very impressive tho I didn't know, first what's with Taiwan, when I know Japanese make the EMU3000, until I read the description.
I couldn't figure out tho how were the trains secured on the truck, especially when there's a curve, to avoid the tilt.
Are the trucks going to be on the ship, as it is?

The train cars are lighter than I thought. Only two sets of two axles were needed.

Don't you think it would be a good idea for a factory which manufactures rolling stock to have a RAILWAY SIDING so they can ship rolling stock on rails rather than the road, or is this just "ancient wisdom" which has been forgotten and ignored. If the faCtory isn't near a rail line, why the hell NOT.
May be easier to move it to a port via road
As an occur in some parts, there aren't connecting railheads to allow trains to be conveyed to their customer's storage facilities or depot. That is often the case in the UK too. Hence why trains are transported by road

日立工場は固有名詞です。ここは日立工場ではありません。しかも日立工場はすでに三菱重工のものです。茨城県日立市の日立工場は発電所のタービンを作るような工場だったのでアメリカの巨大なトレーラーを工場内で使っていました。港までタービンを運ぶトレーラーはISUZUのロゴがあるのでおそらくISUZU製で最大積載量270ｔのトレーラーを牽引していました。このトレーラーは国道を完全に封鎖して深夜に輸送を行っていました。火力発電の事業から撤退したのですでにこの車両は存在しないでしょう。コストを度外視して兄弟会社や日本製を選ぶようなことはバブル経済崩壊のあとは徐々に失われてきました。あなたの主張に沿うなら日立は日産自動車の製品を使わなけらばならなくなります。同じ財閥の仲間だからです。日立の社員は日産以外の車で通勤することは禁止されていましたが、このルールも無くなりました。日本人の自尊心とはまったく関係の無いことです。twitter.com/LOGISTEED_LTD/status/1567422552561143808

Swedish trucks are the most powerful of the world. Japanese brands have nothing as capable.
As the other commenter said, it's probably because the japanese trucks have smaller engines and less torque than the high end european ones.
Just go on the websites of companies like Isuzu and Hino then compare those to the big Scania/Volvo/MAN trucks
