Gambhir by saying "players who can play all 3 formats should prefer playing" doesn't mean that he is advocating to exhaust any player without thinking about the transition going with deep dephth in Indian cricket. Stop manuplating others statements in name of your biasedness.
He is right though. Gambhir should rather follow the concept of specialists rather than all-format players..Also workload management of players like Bumrah, Shami etc is very necessary.

@@AyushRaj-rt6bb yes, distinguishing all format players & to rotate one format players is important for Gambhir as Head Coach but that doesn't mean he means to rush one format player to all formats just in the name of skills.
His statement endorse the fact that if a player's body allows him to transit in another format, he should come ahead to play that format also. Workload management is most important and whether it's Gambhir or anyone, Bumrah Pandya sort of players shall be given priority.

Saim was given 15 matches as an opener, and in his early days, Rizwan received support from the management with opportunities as an opener. Babar was also given chances by Sarfaraz and Micky for 10 to 15 test matches at every spot in middle order. However, Farhan hasn't received the same level of opportunity. Please, let's not be biased.
