- Since arriving in Amphibia, both Sasha and Marcy have acquired very awesome warrior clothing whereas our main character Anne is still wearing her old school clothes. I think it's time she gets a permanent outfit change.

The only new stuff she wore were a hoodie in the New Wartwood episode and the chest plates.
Oh, absolutely. I don’t think it’s fair Marcy and even Sasha have upgraded hard yet Anne is still normally wearing her (likely) smelly uniform, is missing a shoe and has leaves and a twig stuck in her hair.

What always confused me about Anne's other outfits is where she got them and how her leaf kept returning in her hair...so yea, I do think she needs new and consitant outfit.

Well, Anne had her bacpack with her when she got zapped to Amphibia, right? So she must've had that stuff in said bacpack (dang, she sure had a lot packed in there! Lucky her that she did, too! 😆) Same must go for Marcy, because her pajamas were clearly from back on Earth (along with the pen she uses to write in her journal/diary, and possibly the same for her satchel, if not at least the two little charms that look like marshmallows with faces she has attwched to her pen and said satchel). Not sure about Sasha, as I don't know if those bath robes she had were also from Earth, or if she got them in Amphibia...

The lack of outfit change was ticking me off, but I do think it symbolizes her motivation to go home, which is much stronger than Marcy or Sasha's

I think Anne will change her outfit like Sasha & Marcy did, either later in season 2 in the season 2 finale or in the beginning of season 3. I would love to see Anne’s new heroic warrior outfit to wear in battles & The Endgame in the season 3 series finale
Oh yea she’s so overdue. At least she’s worn more than one other outfit across the series, although not permanent
And wearing only one shoe all the time is really bad for your body. It will hurt your spine and hip joints.

I think it's to do with her character and etc
As you can see marcy is in love with amphibia it's interesting and probably every fantasy and videogame all we nerds have dreamnt to be in
She's also become more confident badass and less clumsy
And sasha loves it because she gets to output her anger and etc into something more physical she was already an athletic cheerleader back home and she also commands and manipulates way more people in the form of being second in command lieutenant and she is basically the leader with how low grime became even if he is all fixed up now
But anne is the only one constantly wanting and ready to go home she clearly loves the plantars,frog valley etc and has fun there but she is the only one who is always mentions home the other girls have become interested in immerse into the world of amphibia
And I thin that will be the main conflict the cause they will clearly find the stones by season 2 and the final conflict (will be that frog thing on the box which i like think some fused form of grime and andrias or mutated form of one of them)
And also the girls wanting to go home or not this the one isekai I know with characters transported into another world so i see no reason to take advantage of that

I think the outfits they all wear are symbolic as all three of them arrived in pretty much the same uniform. Anne being the only one in her original uniform to me it shows one she is the most genuine in her intentions out of the three. And two that the new environment hasn't taken over her she hasn't been consumed by it. The other two are consumed by the new environment they've adapted to it but their focus is more on experiencing it outwardly than inwardly. As for Anne she never adapted she got used to it. Though only through connecting emotionally with the new world and the people in it. Meaning she's really the only one out of the three truly experiencing amphibia. Showing how much it's going to hurt her to leave as it's become like a second home to her.
It's the missing shoe that bugs me the most

Something with more rugged elements would suit her development, but keeping it closer to her original color pallet would help her still stand out
At the very least either give her her other shoe back or have her take the one she has off. I know it's a cartoon but it always reminds me of how uncomfortable wearing one shoe actually is
It would be nice for Anne to get new threads to reflect upon her new experiences, but I'm willing to bet that the animators probably don't wanna bother messing with her template model, for more than one episode that is. Don't get me wrong though, I would like to be wrong on that. Or maybe, it'll come around on Season 3, if there is one.
Keep in mind guys the reason why anne didn't want a new look is bc she still wants to see the same her looking back

I think it’s because Anne doesn’t consider Amphibia her home and feels like she doesn’t belong here unlike the 2 girls.
Marcy is living all her videos games fantasy, she’s respected for her intellect and gain more confidence. Maybe on Earth, she was bullied for this trait.
Sasha’s deal is with power and guess what she is in Amphibia. Exactly, she’s second in command in Grim army’s. She can boss people around however she wants. Even on Earth, we saw her manipulative tendencies on Anne and Maggie (the girl that took Anne’s food)
Anne loves the Planters and the village but she knows her place and it’s not in Amphibia. I feel like her live is better on Earth unlike the 2 girls that’s the contrast between them.

I'm hoping her outfit from the newest teaser for the third temple will stick. It's not too much of an addition and she still has her original fit, but it does fit much more with Marcy and Sasha and makes her look just a bit cooler

Oh good, I'm not the only one frustrated by Anne's outfit in the show. I mean at least give the poor girl another shoe, that sock can not be good for her. The one that annoys me is the leaves and twig in her hair, like she doesn't have it in one scene, but then she puts it back? And no young girl would leave stuff in their hair or try to fashion a shoe for herself. It just looks out of place and doesn't fit what would happen, she's not a fish out of water anymore. She has become a part of the world and would have picked up new items.
I think she will have an outfit change, but I also believe it may look similar to the little chess peice we saw, you know foreshadowing and all that, ik it’s only a little shoulder peice, but it’s still a change 😅

A little of topic but I'll be so dissapointed if King Andreas's personality is fake. Let him be the charming goof guy he's presented as and evil.
But on topic leave Anne in her uniform but put armor & stuff on top of it.

Honestly, a small part of me and *ONLY* a small part of me wants to see Anne get an outfit change, because her current outfit suits both her character, and her personality, as she's a bit of a tomboy, and is an example of the TV trope of a wild-child with a huge heart (as seen in King Andrias' book 📖 on the Calamity Box, seeing as following the series, and looking at the translation of aforementioned book's text, she obviously has the blue Calamity Gem 💎 of heart ❤'s power), with her shirt always having a dirt- stain, her being messy and wild and almost always having at least two leaves and a stick in it, and the fact that she almost always continue to stick to almost always running around Amphibia with a missing sneaker 👟 (especially when she's had three oppurtunities to wear another shoe, even if it doesn't match, or simply wear a whole different pair of footwear at least three times now, as we's ve seen her in 3 different ones- those shoes?/slippers? On her first girl-time trip with Polly after she got that spa treatment, the shoes she wore , going on dangerous life-risking adventures with the Plantars, especially Sprig, all over Amphibia, often just for fun! 😆 And with the aforementioned personality trope, the character who it applies to usually cares little about what they're wearing for the most part, so long as it's not anything that complex, as they tend to wear simple clothes, like how with the girls' school clothes, where calm & collected loveable-nerd Marcy wore a hoodie and formal shoesand Sasha, who clearly has a combination of a no-nonsense/"let's get to business" personality combined with an "I'm fabulous and not afraid to show it" personality, wore a suit jacket and heels that have straps, while Anne only wore the school uniform collared shirt and high-top sneakers 👟.
In conclusion, while I don't mean to make you look nor sound bad in this video, I believe Anne's outfit is quite fitting for her personality.
Edot: however, I love the fanart outfit of her in this video's thumbnail pic! 🙂😄😊 If she got that as an outfit change, it wouldn't really clash with her personality. 🙂
I did a comment on this before, I think it's indicative of her own character arc and Sasha/Marcy's arcs. They have changed (for better or worse) as people in Amphibia, and while Anne certainly has changed, she hasn't had as much of a big change as either of them. Or it could be like how at her core, she's still the Anne she always was.

Is this a merchandise thing? They won't update her original outfit so the advertisements and merch won't need to be updated, which is so lame and lazy! I think I saw something about that being the reason Steven didn't get updated until the movie in SU. If nothing else the shoe is irritating me, her sock would be in tatters!
