Oreo truffles or the white chocolate oreo truffles is an easy to make recipe with oreos and kids will definitely love these truffles. It can be made in just 30 minutes and the only time it takes is to freeze the biscuits.
For making the oreo truffles, it is not necessary that we need to the white chocolate. We can also do these with semi sweet chocolate, if you feel white chocolates are too sweet.
In either way, these oreo truffles are a super delicious delicacy to the kids and can also make these as a party recipes.
Ingredients
Oreo biscuits - 15 biscuits
Condensed milk - 4 tbsp
White chocolate - 75 gms
Ghee - little (used as shortening)
Chocolate chips - little
Method
Take about 15 Oreo biscuits in a food processor and grind it to a fine powder.
Tranafer this to a bowl and add condensed milk.
Mix well to form a dough.
Apply little ghee or any shortening so that the dough wont stick to your hands.
Make into small balls and freeze them for 15 to 20 min.
Meanwhile melt the white chocolate in microwave for 15 to 20 sec or melt using double boiler method. Cool it.
Once the oreos are freezed, remove them from freezer and dip the balls in the white chocolate sauce until the white chocolate are completely coated.
Decorate with some chocolate chips or sprinkles etc and freeze again for about 10 min before serving.
Tasty white chocolate Oreo truffles are ready
