It 's a pleasure Susie ! I still am grateful for your Human League video at the W-Festival in Ostend last year because I unfortunately had to miss it. Thanks to you I could live it later at home. And yes, I love the Stranglers ! Soletimes I can be a guide in Nice, and I always start it by having the visitors listening to 'So nice in Nice'. And then I ask them why it is no nice in Nice. The answer is another Stranglers song : 'Always the Sun' 🌻🌅🌴😊

Great looking video! Sounds like your hand was covering the microphone most of the time though. I had to turn up the speakers.
I wouldn't do that. The sound mix was terrible. The bass was super loud and the vocals were barely audible.
they come to the US for a festival, then don't bother to tour the US,, saying this as a East Coast fan,, would love to see them live, yet they never tour here,,,,
I am also an East Coast fan but they did play Boston a couple of times in the past few years. I go to Europe for W Fest every year and often see them.

I make it happen. Travel is the only thing I spend money on. I get the airline credit cards and get free flights, stay at Airbnbs, Wait until the last day before the California festivals and get $100 tickets, stuff like that.

Each airline usually has a cc offer with lots of bonus miles, but you can only do them once every 2 years.

After a band has been going 50 years,there are going to be changes- Hugh left 34 years ago,and the other 2 sadly passed away- there are only 2 original rolling stones left- but nobody batts an eyelid to that- long live the stranglers.

Because they weren't promoted enough and they weren't to keen on coming over here at all really . And still don't seem to be . Which devastates me ! And in LA too !? 🤬 😭

I was going to go especially to see The Stranglers - for $300. I'm glad they did GOLDEN BROWN, PEACHES, GET A GRIP, ALWAYS THE SUN & HANGING AROUND - but I REALLY wanted to also hear STRANGE LITTLE GIRL & SKIN DEEP. Only 38 minutes! Well, I would have expected around 60.
BTW, what time did they go on?
I also hoped they would play a solo gig or two in SoCal but it wasn't to be.
STRANGLERS, PLEASE COME BACK TO SOCAL FOR SOME MORE SHOWS!
