I’ve always liked how Nightwing is just as capable as Batman not only because Batman trained him extremely well, but also because Dick went to bludhaven and became a hero in his own right outside of Bruce’s shadow. Crafting his own experiences and even leading his own team of supers with the teen titans. I really love this character he’s one of my favorites from the DC universe.
It just sucks that the makers of this game did him dirty by making him lose to Harley Quinn in another DLC...
@@goodnesswhy I thought that was Tim? I was always under the assumption that in this timeline at least we never saw Jason Todd Or Dick Grayson as Robin and only Tim Drake. Pretty sure the first time we see Dick Grayson in this series is in Arkham city and he’s already a fully realized nightwing. And I’ve seen a video that says Jason was only recently killed before the start of Arkham asylum and by Arkham city, Tim Drake is Robin. That’s what I thought anyways.

+Batman And you know what the sad part is, you see that he's kind of "lollygagging" throughout the gameplay. If he actually pushed for efficiency and almost-instinctive reflexes, the way he plays other Arkham games (and their DLCs), this DLC would probably clock in at 10 minutes or less).

+Batman Gaz Deaves and Dax Ginn are gonna have their work cut out for them when trying to promote the next story pack on arkham insider. Considering they must know now , that we know they're a bunch of sleazy con men and think negatively of them after this worthless DLC. It's kind of gross how Barbara keeps banging all the Bats throughout various universes. Here they are forcing her and Tim together. In the main continuity of comics she's gone after Dick, Jason, and Luke--going for both Dick and Jason was really gross, too, because they're foster brothers and thank goodness Jason ended up saying no and ditching her. In the Batman Beyond universe she went back and forth between Dick and Bruce, destroying her relationship with both of them and their relationship with each other, and in the DCAU, she hooked up with Bruce in the Killing Joke. This is just another reason why I'm sick of Barbara Gordon. Also, did they age Tim up in this game or something, because I'm used to Tim Drake who's never gotten older than seventeen at the oldest? He better not be a kid in this game.

I love how Nightwing is able to retain a jovial personality even though he's a member of the Bat family, deserves a solo outing, or at least a nicer bit of dlc
if nightwing was in batmans place to take down scarecrow the whole game would only be 10 minutes long

You know what would be cool? If Nightwing and other playable heroes could pull off certain combat moves Batman can’t. Batman is the vanilla character, and practically everyone else seems to be a lesser version of him (besides Azrael). If each character had different pros and cons it’s be way more exciting. Something like Deathstroke where he instantly opened vents or took down enemies with the Disarm and Destroy if you were in focus mode. Maybe Nightwing could counter the shields and shock sticks and Robin can counter enemies with guns.

Nightwing, when I play him at Arkham City, can counter shockstick goons pretty easily. Use the Electrical Discharge ability and it allows you to break through the goons' automatic counterattack but only for a short duration after the Electrical Discharge.
And there is something I am still trying to figure out about is that one of his special moves can allow you to breakthrough the shields automatic defense and allow the player to beat him down. I did it only once and I wasn't paying all that attention until the last second.
What Rocksteady SHOULD fucking do is, to make a DLC, that reveals whether Bruce is the Batman again or not. Or if even he is alive, instead of this bullshit.

There is another DLC coming called the Season of Infamy, and I think it takes place before the events of Arkham Knight
What part of "This is how the Batman died" didn't you understand? Batman is now a myth and that how it is. Rather or not if Bruce Wayne is dead or not is up to the player/viewer

As for Season of Infamy, I'm pretty certain it takes place during the events of the main game
