At first, I didn't like Droppin' plates but it soon became a favorite of mine. The last part of the song is the best!
That's how it is for me for a lot of songs then a few listens later they're one of my favorites
I'm convinced that's brainwashing. That goes especially for pop music. I think that's why some songs get drilled on the radio. Even before the verdict is out on them.
Disturbed has defiantly come a long way and David's vocal abilities has greatly increased. It's amazing.

Man, this is just as good as it was a decade and a half ago. Disturbed was the best thing I had ever heard, and the sickness had just come out. I was 14. Amazing summer. Glad to see these guys are still going strong
I met David walking by himself at Ybor City during Guavaween. Nobody had recognized him yet because the first album hadn't been out long. I was already a big fan and got pictures with him and he signed my sweatshirt. I saw them at Livestock Zephyrhills around the year 2000 and again opening up for Korn in Tampa.
It’s 2023, this song still rocks. They’ve come so far in their sound but man this early era shit is so powerful!!
My husband used to try and torture with songs from these guys. He's been gone from this world almost 4 years and I always can tell when I need a little scrambled brains...OMG. I feel better now!

It's sad that Droppin' Plates is such a smaller song than most of the others on "The Sickness"

I saw these guys when they first played ozzfest and they weren't even on MTV yet. They were amazing and way better than all other bands on the 2nd stage.
The great part is when David first joined they just had this guy come in and IMPROVISE over their instruments and he killed it, no experience basically. Was meant to be.
remember from believe fear from the sickness pain redefined ,haunted and in my opinion legion of monsters are my top favs

a lot of their songs sound like dbz references in the lyrics like animal is about the transformation from saiyan to saiyan monkey or super saiyan,warrior was about vegeta and indestructible was about goku perfect insanity was about cell,

I can guarantee you they're not DBZ references, but it's cool that you can take that from them and apply their meaning in your own way.
