Massive respect for you telling this story Soufyan. It should be heard. You faced an injustice and

It is extremely sad , you don’t have to agree with each other but respect someone’s values, beliefs and morals. I worked in the vulnerable sector and was told I would have to remove my hijab as it was a health and safety issue. I demanded it should be given to me in writing but they refused. I could feel the atmosphere was intense but I dug my heels in and thought “ I don’t think so”, but as time passed I realised even my fellow Muslim co-workers did not take a stance. I lost respect for my employer and my co-workers and left . If Allah swt closes one door another one opens subhanAllah. Im in a much better environment now . Alhumdulilah

Bro, this video had me in my feelings. I had to pause it a couple of times.
It was absolutely disgusting to hear about your and your father's mistreatment simply because of your race. No one should ever face such prejudice and discrimination, especially in a professional setting where diversity and inclusion should be embraced and celebrated. Your experiences were a stark reminder of the work that still needs to be done to eradicate racism.
What truly makes me proud is how you stood up for yourself and advocated for your rights. You refused to be a silent victim and used your voice to challenge the injustice you were subjected to. Your courage and determination in the face of adversity are qualities that I hope rub off on the young minds you helped shape.
As the saying goes, "Karma has no menu; you get served what you deserve." I firmly believe that those responsible for the racism you endured will eventually face the consequences of their actions. Whether through the lessons they learn or the justice that prevails, their actions will not go unpunished.
With that said, being of mixed race and living in the South (USA), I have personally experienced racism within my own family to such an extent that last names were changed in an effort to disassociate from "black" people who now share the same blood. I could go on for days. Although I was triggered, this video was superb, added more to your character, and was yet another example of how good of a human you are!

I had a racist experience when applying for uni, and it was the most multicultural university you can think of but unfortunately the department and course I wanted to go on wasn’t. And there was proof that it was right out racism because I had a girl who was also my friend but she was white who applied for the same course, had the same tutors interview her on the same day! And they asked me questions like will your parents take you out of uni to marry you off? Do your parents know you are applying for this course! All because I was a Muslim Pakistani girl who wanted to do photography! Alhamdulillah I went to a better university and got places but my friend who went to that uni and on to that course ended up failing her first year along with half the class and she also told me that her class only had polish white people and not a single coloured person! If that isn’t our right racism then I don’t know what is!

I am outraged but not surprised that racism exists in UK. Respect to this young blackman Muslim a double whammy and the biggest disadvantage there is. Yet, alhamdulillah he is thriving because He is married and has a child. Does anyone understand how difficult it is to find reasonable partners nowadays, well its crappy difficult

They were 110% trying to find any excuse to lay you off and cover their blatant racism. Just them casually using racial slurs is enough to show how little they respect people of colour. As it’s said, “with hardship comes ease”, Alhamdullilah Allah swt brought ease for you. On a more positive note, absolutely love these podcasts. I've been in that situation before and when it was first said in the teacher briefing.
Neither you or the sista addressed it. They took that as passive acceptance.
Like you guys later discussed that gave them a pass to act like they normally act.
In my situation, I addressed it the second it happened ( on a not so professional manner) and let them know it's unacceptable. The way I made it clear was not only my words but my body language.
They did not want to test me.
