I gotta say, despite this being a cypher based on a dislight sponsorship, it's surprising accurate. The line about Son Wu Kong was my favorite. Him being essentially a monkey demon who usurped a kingdom, and then challenged literally ALL OF HEAVEN, he did really well portraying the absolute confidence and swagger that Wu Kong is famous for.
Witch is why I think HE should have beed the good at the top.

i aint gonna lie i saw "Mythology Cypher" and fr thought i was about to get nerdcore artists rapping about legit mythology, and even though i was a little down that it was about a game that certainly took liberties with the source material, the video and rapping on this was sick as hell and i love it

I love this cypher it has a song like structure and has its hook in between verses instead of jumping right in to the next. You don’t do that structure often and with your improvement as a musician it is definitely better than the last times you did this

I already preregistered this game and totally forgot, after seeing this I immediately went and downloaded it, and the fact the cypher hits so damn hard, Cam never misses for real, man. definitely another hit added to the playlist.

Bro. I love this song. Less the bars and more just the epic flows. Cam's and Kevin's flows are insane with all the internal multi syllable rhymes and syncopation. And it's good to see you stay loyal to Mix and include him on everything. His bars never land with me on the first listen, and that's a good thing because he's got the biggest personality inflections here and there in every word and I'm just there like "damn, how does he make me like this so much when I have no idea what he's talking about? I'm just loving the vibe too much to care". Also. My man GYee on the Chinese mythology, perfect fit really for this community. I just knew he could resist a Sun Tzu Art of War bar when Nezha is involved in the game.
I haven't played the game yet. But this cypher might as well have made me a fan. Probably doesn't matter to Cam because he's making bank either way, but hey, personal thanks from a long time nerdcore fan and mythology nerd for letting me enjoy this cypher. Peace!
Honestly, you guys did so well creating this.
Cam made such a good intro and really captured the modern aspect of the game.
If this was a rap battle, William will win, he made sure that people were still interested in the middle, it was suspenseful and catchy, had such a good vibe.
G.yee did the best job and telling the story of Chinese mythology, which I don't think a lot of people would know about.
Kevin's was the perfect ending to the cypher, it was really smooth, everything just rolled off the tongue and had a calmer, more casual, 'cooler' vibe.
Didn’t expect this to go as hard as it did lol, also Hideki is absolutely insane
I absolutely love the beat for this cypher. Techno and rock feel so right together in a rap sense and I wish more songs had this type of beat.

The cypher itself was amazing. The beat was fire, everyone's flow was smooth, the references was hard, and even the lineup was crazy. One of my favorite cyphers for sure

So you can do cyphers like 4/5 star character rap cypher or like cyphers for characters from one place eg monstadt, liyue, inazuma...
