I feel like the people who watch this are Marines on duty
blankswitch 92 roger lmfao
literally what im doing right now lmao
well they need to do something to make themselves feel better for making a bad choice lmfao.
despite all the shit they talk......they still come to our chow halls for the good food lol
Former active duty Marine, I just wanted to see if Air Force basic was as soft and weak of a joke as I'd always heard. It is.
john smith nah bitch you’re weak
The most shocking part of air force basic training was when the recruits learned they only got one serving of lobster at the chow hall.
Last I checked when the Marines, Seals, or Rangers call 911 it's still the AF pararescue that responds...
Not always.
air force pussies
my beloved marine core has its own fighter jets so your service is no longer required, lol jk bro you guys do a good job
Last I checked it starts with a 9 line
@@Democratic_union Yes the USMC does have its own fighter jets. Very few of which are operational. Also side note - do you even know the last time the military engaged in a air-to-air dogfight? Hint: almost 20 years ago. The USMC has very, and I mean VERY few air-to-ground capable aircraft. Meaning the AF our numbers usmc aircraft by folds and folds. We utilize the A10, Spooky, F35, hell even are fighter jets are trained for CAS at an extent never seen before. Meet a single combat veteran, and ask them about their experience with our combat support. I guarantee they'll be thankful. Now go back to DEP Poole and learn how to spell Corps before you join, maybe your recruiter will reward you with blue crayons.
Bruh half the people in the comments claiming they’re marines aren’t in any military branch
My first meal, I remember someone standing right next to me, screaming at me...."Eat it now....Taste it later". That's when I realized "WTF did I just DO".
I'm in the Army now. Air Force will be the only branch I would recommend to my kids.
But why?
@@anthonyperezalvarado240 because it treats you better and pays the same
Memories: 3701 BMTS Flight 138, 29 July 1976. Those were the days. Back then, were wore combat boots and chuka boots during our physical fitness exercises. Ah, but the beats goes on... Aim High! Go Air Force! Thanks to all who serve, no matter what branch of service that you serve for! We all serve for the same purpose, to protect the American way of life.
Hey, we were there at the same time, August 1976. I remember those chuka boots gave me a blister so bad it took a couple of years for the signs of it to disappear. My TI's were SSgt Bruschino and Sgt Roberts. I think I was 3706 BMTS Flight 42.
3723rd BMTS Flight 367, 14 March 1973. When I got to Keesler in May 1973, I chucked my chukka boots into the Gulf of Mexico. I absolutely HATED those boots.
OOh, that salute in the middle at the end.. Nice
I wanted to reach through the screen and smack him.
I had to pause the video there.. I then proceeded to knife hand the shit out of my monitor.
needless to say, that was probably a mistake to do that to my monitor.
I am a veteran of the Marine Corps and I love the Air Force. My Drill Instructor was prior Air Force and plenty of the Marines I have talked to regret not joining the Air Force.
I loved it when I got out of my civi clothes and got my first uniform. I'm old so I wore the BDUs.
Watching this brings back memories from when I was at Lackland in 1983-1984. We were referred to as 'pickles' due to our all-green bdu's. I'm proud of our men and women in the armed services. The best in the world.
Hi Lewis, I was at Lackland in 1984 and remember the 'pickles' title. No more crappy green uniforms. Those were the worst.
"Sir trainee what?" :That's pretty weird trainee."
Loved hearing that.
I served in the USAF from '84-'89 and initially I was pretty good and not getting yelled at too much. But then when we were getting ready for an inspection, we were rushed to chow. As I came back from dinner I saw our squadron commander yelling at a couple Airmen and asking for me! Oh crap, what did I do?! Well I forgot to secure my foot locker and when I got up to our barracks all of my stuff from my wall and storage locker, plus my bed was all over the place. Three TI's came right at me and I wanted to be anywhere but there! Some extra duty and cleaning up ensured me to always SECURE YOUR FOOT LOCKER!
I'm not going to go too crazy in this comment section, but I will say one thing. These Airmen have a far greater chance of getting a high-paying civilian job after the military than those from other branches. The Air Force teaches a lot of applicable skills to life, not just to shooting a gun. So you Marines and such out there, good for you. I thank you for your choice to serve in a combat role. Just make sure you know where you can get a good job for once you leave. Believe it or not, you can't be an active Corpsman your whole life.
I helped keep a squadron of F-15s in the air with my training and experience in pneumatics and hydraulics per my speciality. It was not a chair job as some say. It was not easy as some think. It was sometimes dangerous if you made mistakes or did something stupid (those that did make mistakes and did dumb things were weeded out). I loved what I did and why I did it.
Retired Air Force crew chief here- thanks for your service brother. F-15 is the badest damn airplane in the world. I worked the A-10 too which was fun.
I never knew where the chair jobs were either…started as a C-141 crew chief and even finally as an officer I was out on the flightline helping load cargo pallets. I respect all the men and women in all the branches. Every one of them had a hob to do and they did it.
We get it, the Marine Corps and the Army are the more physical branches. The men and women who go into the AF aren’t meat heads like you. They have the brains that are needed to make the weapons and drones you guys rely so heavily on. The AF would be nothing without the Army and the Marines, and the Army and Marines would be nothing without the AF. Now, the Navy, well.... JK, the Navy is just as important.
This is An alias You peice of shit don't know shit
Nick Keller k
Marine Jarheads are part of the Navy, We use them to guard our gates and lick our boots.
Only t he Grunts.
You think so? You obviously a newb.
I had a former marine in my air force bmt class, and he said air force bmt was way easier physically, but was WAY more mentally exhausting. Less physical stress and more mental.
*This brings back some old memories.*
MY LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THE U.S. AIR FORCE.
Oh nice, they got 4-6 hours of sleep. in marine corps boot we didnt get any until Wednesday
In navy bootcamp we didn't get any for the first 40 hours and we had to ship our phones home.
ShortKidd we didnt bring our phones
lol I remember receiving in USMC boot. They made us drink like 3 whole canteens for the piss test and people were pissing themselves in line. I was pissing all night until it was time to wake up.
Scot M Thats hilarious. We didnt do that though
Yeah dude. ChairForce looks like cake.
At the end of the day, it isn't about who's toughest, it's about who can operate the best according to their branch
taking my asvab next week.so excited
Those are my brothers and sisters in the armed forces, Hooah!!!
@DDrummer Isn't the navy? What do you mean isn't the Navy?
Nice to see how the other armed forces do things. There appears to be a lot more USMC content than the others.
I leave for basic April 18th. After that I go right across the street to start my Security Forces tech school.
Rated good luck! I'm on my way to BMT.
Franklin330 what's it like cuase I was thinking secfo just cuase it looks more entertaining then the other jobs on base but idk
Hey i left for basic april 18th what flight were you
Those barracks are godly compared to the Paris Island barracks
That's because they are new, give them a couple decades and they will begin to look like the old ones. Some dorms in my squadron already had plaster falling off the walls and half the items in the bathrooms broken and the place had just opened a couple years prior to when I went through.
Should of joined the Air Force.
You went into one of the 1980 mob barracks in 1980, they sucked. A/C meant binds up, heat meant blinds down.
Yeah right. I know it’s Parris Island.
Man no one cares 😂
I think I had more shock and awe on my flight to MCRD San Diego than they had in their first week
Even in navy boot camp they kept us up for a good 48 hours when we got there
Those new dorms like nice!
4 to 6 that must been nice,Fortbenning 30th AG I got 6 hours for the first three days lol
Please. What's the use. And I'm pro Air Force. You guys got it made so much. Love it.
Back in December '75, my first memory on Lackland was getting off the bus at 2 AM, getting yelled at and peeing into a cup.
The one speaking was my MTI in BMT. Surprised me when I saw her.
3709 bmts then 3700 sps LE tech school then 3700 SPS LAFB then 18th SPS Kadena AB Japan
I didn't shit for my first week in bmt which is insane considering the amount that you eat. When I finally did it hurt like hell....
Sgt Stephens @ 1:35 he was my brother flights MTI. #322 #Flt139
AYYEEEE I was 140. He WAS my MTI. Badass guy.
I go off to my BMT tomorrow :) if I remember I’ll try to update y’all
Best of luck at training!
Sandboxx wishes you the best of luck on your military journey. 🙂
I got to my tech school yesterday night. BMT was an awesome experience. Not to bad.
I only got a total of maybe 45 minutes of sleep. I kept waking up because I was scared shitless.
When we did our 2 mile run! About 2-3 weeks in of BMT! All the male & female flights were out. I was the one my staff sergeant seen. Coming in 1st place that day! 2nd was some female that was a collegiate cross country runner! A cramp on my side was KILLING ME! The whole I’m not letting a female beat me in this race EGO kicked in & left her in the dust! One of my best feelings ever beating all those airmen & women! Shortly after a video in a room with some others! We were all offered to be a PJ. Instead of my original M.O.S. Which was going to be Telecommunications in Biloxi Mississippi! Soon learned what a OSPREY was! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🙇🏽♂️
Congratulations on coming in first. When I did the same the TI at the finish line told me I had another lap to run! Ha! I started to say "Wha! . . and then came to my senses, gasped yes sir, and ran the extra quarter mile.

My second instructor woke us up and I never saw her after that day for the rest of training
That's a dope pt pad. Army vet here. Is that an actual padded pad? Or just painted concrete
Just one minute if each workout really. I do that. Just for my warm ups
I'm shocked they wake up before sunrise. I'm in awe of those sweet ass glow sticks.
Lol she was my MTI in the 323rd and that is my dorm. Great MTI
I'm trying to get in the airforce.. I hope it all goes well...
Go for it
MSgt. Johnson! She was my flight's IS
Oh the memories....
Msgt Johnson was my IS in basic training
4-6 hours? They are lucky. When I came through in March 2017 my flight only got maybe 1 hour lol
Yeah I didn't get any sleep that first night..
You got that much? man, they have really pussed up
Were they allowed to be all bloused day 1? USMC in SD didn't get to do that until 2nd phase.
lol, I thought they were going to start dancing with their flash lights
I'm a part of the team till that army pt test rolls around then I'm an individual cause if my partner fails her pt I ain't failing my pt I'm gonna max it but everything else definitely GoTeam
MSgt Johnson was my old instructor supervisor
Brenden Wells lmao i fell asleep during a briefing for PRC duty flight and i got sent to her and she roasted me so bad
Brenden Wells me too 😍
SSgt Hollingshed, an albino looking fellow made my life miserable for six weeks back in the early 80s.
I dont remember getting an hour of sleep my first two days at Fort Sill lmao.
Man we didn’t sleep for three days once I got to training lol
Do they still have the one week Golf Course training?
So glad I went marines
Geez these trainees have it easy it wasn't like that in Alcatraz 322 eagles
I lold at "shock and awe"
Shock and awe? More like cookies and milk🍪🍼
Retro Zombie Oh calm it down it was just a joke. Same team all the way dude😂
Austin Owens Sorry I just get annoyed by people like that
Retro Zombie I feel I feel, I haven’t even shipped off to boot camp yet. I just love how toxic every branch is to each other. Just a little brotherly quarrels
Is this the boy scout camp?
lmao, at least we get some
Damn I wish I had 4-6 hours of sleep when i got to army basic training
In marine boot camp you don’t even get sleep the first day
Normally four to six hours of sleep, but if you are me go 5 days without any sleep
i wanna see these dudes spend a day at sand hill for benning
I want to see you spend a day in an English class. At least we can read and write properly.
Well the AF doesn’t promote how hard physically you have to be, it’s the mental game they worry about. But lol those sandwiches had me rolling lol. Same team at the end of the day.
"Marines only talk shit because they didn't score high enough to join the AF." I'm enlisting into the marine corps and I scored a 76 on the ASVAB.
Whats the name of the song at the beginning ?
I'm so glad I went through Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island SC back in 2007. ARMY, NAVY, Coast Guard, and Air Force boot camp looks like civilians acting like military personnel... To me, they don't feel military, they look like it though.
Lawrence Rodriguez like someone said, the real services are army and navy, airforce is a corporation and the marines are a cult lol
How is the United States Marine Corps a cult?
But a US Army ranger can still kick your ass.
"Shock and Awe"? Haha, yeah that looked pretty rough.
Pull ups are what's gonna kill me, I really suck at those
Check out armstrongpullupprogram.com/. It's a free guide that really helps.
Spaze don't worry about the pull ups too much. focus on running.
Pull ups are not part of the fitness test, they just help you get stronger while you work out there.
Spaze whats the average running distance on a daily basis? (Innocent question)
I've seen boots still in BMT shopping at the PX in Lackland. Looked like they were on vacation. WTF!!!!!!!!!
Good times. :-)
Shock and Awe? when does that happen?
Wtf we didn’t get to sleep for 2 days straight when we were getting processed in USMC boot camp.
Is this really what airforce basic training is like? Im joining the marines so I wouldnt really know but it looks very interesting :) I heard that you get an m16 and you learn to assemble and dissamble it within a time limit? That sounds cool
Garbage Can Someone who’s going to be a Marine not bashing the Air Force? I’ve seen everything.
Im sure everyone has great pride in each of the branches they're in but at the end of the day, we're all a team and everyone has a purpose in the team :D
honestly the first 2 days at BMT are by far the worst. Think I got like 4 hours of sleep total those first 2 nights.
in marine we didnt got to sleep until Wednesday..
Those new dorms look nice. Ours looked and smelled like death
in pt training how many pushups and situps not pt test
"Hey recruit, could you please go to the position of attention?"
the air force blue suits look like highschool wrestling clothes
Air Force living good.
A. We didn’t get 4-6 hours of sleep.
B. It was not this simple
C. I wish it was more of a challenge.
Looks kind of similar to the army basic training but with better equipment and cleaner facilities.
The animosity seen here between the different services just gives these NFL players kneeling at our national anthem more fuel. And they are probably enjoying reading this. I here this trash talking between veterans over the CB radio on a weekly basis. Just keep in mind we all served.
James Horak that explains alot... CB radio....
4-6 hours of sleep? I feel like they have to say that for PR and legal reasons. I went through in 2017 and the first night was about 1.5 hours of sleep - just enough to tease you before diving into a long first day 😂
What do they teach them? How to lick envelopes and adjust the height of their office chair.
im swearing the day after tomorrow excitement and nerves all around
That awkward moment when I realised that was my MTI from bmt lmao
I'm going to join the Air Force after high school.
Did you join? I’m thinking of joining after high school. I have family who have served in the Air Force, my cousin just graduated a few months ago from BMT
@@DDDiego I ship to bmt on the 22 of June, and do it
4 to 6 hours the first night!!!!???? I had like 30 minutes that night wtf
are these the new dorms?? i dont remember my dorms being this nice back in 2011.
Yup.
Josh Lien They sure were not when I was there in 1962.
I want to go into the army and my mom keeps trying to convince me no to go now she has people telling me I should at least do airforce or navy but honestly, I dnt want to do either of those
Do air force
any way to avoid shots? like can i get them prior to BMT?
ask a recruiter????
I guess I missed the shock and awe part.
Little known fact: the Coast Guard is actually second in terms of having one the hardest basic trainings
What if I can’t do pullups
I'm joining the air force
4-6 hours to sleep? BULL FUCKING SHIT! They keep you up til 4AM, then you're up again at 5:45AM.
So, where's the shock and awe?
