I love the fact that chally is laying low like they always did being not the best tank and crew but we all know how those British bloke perform on the real battlefield

Actually Poland had live ammo loaded, DM43 capable of penning everything except Strv 122 and Leopard 2A6 from the front :P So yeah, they could fire and actually destroy all of them from the front.
Hell no... this isn't even putting a dent into the Challenger 2. DM43 is outdated ammo, and the polish A5 still uses the short L/44 cannon. Even the K2 (10t lighter than Leopard 2) can withstand the DM63 fired from the L/55. I'll bet you either of those tanks would brush it off, even the T-84.
I love how all the European countries tanks have small flags on them to indicate who they are. And the American tanks have 2 big ass flags blowing in the wind so every other damn country knows America is here.
Russian tank biathlon format is more interesting and dynamic. It would be fun to see there the Western models competing vs Russian T14 Armata, T90M Proryv and modernized T72 and also vs the Chinese ones.

@@robinqu6554 a Leopard 2 has no autoloader - the purpose is to allow the fumes to evacuate the barred faster (to give a bit aid to the bore evacuator) and mostly: if the breach is a downward position, it is way easier for the loader to load a new round into the breach ;)

This competition is based on crew training, not necessarily who has the best tank. In terms of that it’s a matchup between the Leopard 2A6 and the M1A2 SEPv2 due to the leopards advanced composite armour and really good APDSFS ammunition and the M1A2 SEPv2’s phenomenal armour, armour package, and its newly developed APDSFS rounds. Reason why I don’t hold the Challenger too highly is because though it has comparable armour to the Leopard 2A6 it’s ammunition can’t easily penetrate the newer models of T-90Ms and British 120mm rounds are fairly shit due to its reliance on HESH and rifled guns and not smootbore guns and APDSFS round development. French Leclerc needs an updated refit, M84 Oplot and Oplot 2s are capable but not very good. And every single Leopard 2 below A6 is a slightly worse off version of the A6 so there isn’t a need for more being said. Though if Germany keep winning these it simply means more training is needed for other crews.
The Inquisition I agree. Chally 2 will work fine against iraqi old t-72/80s and such but it cant really do juch against modern 3rd gen mbts. Then again, why would UK be fighting modern tanks anyways? They only need to engange against weaker terrorist/3rd world forces (at this moment) so they don't necessarily need a smoothbore cannon. Rifled cannon can pump HEAT shells down range a ling way accurately and destroy okd tanks just fine :)

This is mainly because of the poor muzzle velocity of the outdated L30a1 gun!! This gun is nothing else as total disgrace! Even the british military confirmed that the Rh-120 l55 gun in connection with the DM53/63 round is superior in all respects.
Cool video :) but remember this is more of a fun challenge that test the crews more than the tank, hence you can see vast generation gap here (2A4 vs 2A6). That's why Austrian Leo 2A4 scored better than Polish 2A5, US Abrams or UK Chally.

i dont understand. unexperienced crew from GER, AUT, and POL in Leo2s (A4,A5,A6) won over UKR, UK, and US M1A2 SEP2, Chally 2, and T-84? i mean France aside because they do their tanks more unique than anyone else. And UK out as they havnt had any real tank use engagement. yes they have had used their Chally2s in battle. but not as extensive as the US. Even Ukraine has been in a war with russia since 2014. Id expect their crew to be all on the ready kind of trained. not fireing drills every week or 2. but combat scenario training every few days. the Leo2A5 and A6 where used in afghan and are used in the Syria civil war. but even so, theyre not quite up to date or modern models as of 2016-2018. All that together. Challenger II last had a major update in 2014 with Challenger II-CLEP Leopard 2A6M was a 2007 package. the T-84 Oplot-M model was a 2005 If anything id see the have a closer place if not 1st. their M1A2 SEP II was a 2015 update. hell the first SEP III was delivered in 2017. the US armored forces have been in over 4 major conflicts, Gulf war, Iraq, Afghan, and ... Iraq again. (thx Bush). having over 25 years of combat under its belt. and a crew thats always in combat i wouldnt have expect the M1 to drop below 3rd. specially with all its features that most others dont have. A good fight would probably be the M1A2 SEP III vs the Leo2A7+ dont get me started and the shit junk russia makes. their paper T-90s or their oversized M1-TTB i mean, T-14.
Keller weskier you do understand that the biggest threat to modern mbt's are atgm's and RPG's, not just other tanks, now Challenger 2 has extensively proven itself against said weapon systems with minimal damage (one taking 70+ RPG hits and atleast one Milan atgm with no crew casualties), the worst enemy fire incidents were an rpg 29 exploding underneath a CH2 causing fragmentation in the drivers compartment and the driver losing a couple of toes and the other was a large IED which caused severe leg injuries to the driver, a somewhat larger device than the 15kg one mentioned re the lep 2. Both tanks are still in service. Also the LEP for CH2 is on going with upgrades to electronic and counter measures to keep it up to date.

unexperienced crew from GER, AUT, and POL in Leo2s (A4,A5,A6) won over UKR, UK, and US M1A2 SEP2, Chally 2, and T-84? i mean France aside because they do their tanks more unique than anyone else.
And UK out as they havnt had any real tank use engagement. yes they have had used their Chally2s in battle. but not as extensive as the US.
Even Ukraine has been in a war with russia since 2014. Id expect their crew to be all on the ready kind of trained. not fireing drills every week or 2. but combat scenario training every few days.
the Leo2A5 and A6 where used in afghan and are used in the Syria civil war. but even so, theyre not quite up to date or modern models as of 2016-2018.

Challenger II last had a major update in 2014 with Challenger II-CLEP
Leopard 2A6M was a 2007 package.

If anything id see the have a closer place if not 1st. their M1A2 SEP II was a 2015 update. hell the first SEP III was delivered in 2017. the US armored forces have been in over 4 major conflicts, Gulf war, Iraq, Afghan, and ... Iraq again. (thx Bush). having over 25 years of combat under its belt. and a crew thats always in combat i wouldnt have expect the M1 to drop below 3rd. specially with all its features that most others dont have.
A good fight would probably be the M1A2 SEP III vs the Leo2A7+
dont get me started and the shit junk russia makes. their paper T-90s or their oversized M1-TTB i mean, T-14.
Keller weskier you do understand that the biggest threat to modern mbt's are atgm's and RPG's, not just other tanks, now Challenger 2 has extensively proven itself
against said weapon systems with minimal damage (one taking 70+ RPG hits and atleast one Milan atgm with no crew casualties), the worst enemy fire incidents were an rpg 29 exploding underneath a CH2 causing fragmentation in the drivers compartment and the driver losing a couple of toes and the other was a large IED which caused severe leg injuries to the driver, a somewhat larger device than the 15kg one mentioned re the lep 2. Both tanks are still in service. Also the LEP for CH2 is on going with upgrades to electronic and counter measures to keep it up to date.
The Leopard 2 performed so poorly in Syria it has to be considered the weakest of all NATO MBTs.
