When he says it looks so good, that's really how you feel, I remeber the first time powering on my Oled tablet which is the only oled I have seen I was thinking holy crap

I bought the 13.3 version of this oled panel, just another brand, for my old 64 gig SD, should be here in 2 days, can't wait to see my SD in oled on double the size of the SD screen. :)

I got this monitor for my Steam Deck too and I agree that the Steam Deck Home Screen is stunning on this panel. I just wish the refresh rate was a little higher. But it’s not like the Steamdeck can push 1080p high refresh in modern games anyways 🤷🏽‍♂️.

What about latency for retrogaming? Is it worth for retro platform games like mario, donkey kong, contra, arcade shotemups...? Thanks a lot

For non-gaming use, which technology is better for text clarity, an IPS panel or an oled panel. My use case is an a panel portable monitor to be used in the car.

Depends on the subpixel layout. OLED tends to have triangular or otherwise irregular subpixels whereas lcd commonly has the rgb layout where all the pixels are a grid of squares. Color fringing can occur with oleds that have non rgb subpixels. Also if you’re doing lots of work with static images and screens oled has a risk to burn in where lcd does not.
But for everything else aside from office tasks oled is better.

For office work and general use get a good IPS and don't look back. OLED has text rendering issues on Windows because it's not a type of sub pixel layout they have adapted clear type for. Its good enough for casual use but not for office use, or as a text display.
IPS screens generally get brighter so you can adapt them for more lightning conditions. If you're using it in a car you definitely want the highest nit display you can find and if it's glossy probably matte screen protector.
You'll probably find a more color accurate display that's IPS, possibly better grey's depending on the quality of the oled.
You will definitely experience burn in (or really annoying image retention) if you have the same apps open for hours day in and day out.
OLED is best for media and gaming and not mixed use. Unless you're paying a few thousand for the art oled displays, or mastering displays that can go for 30k.

Awesome unboxing video. Can you game online with this gaming portable monitor? I know some portable gaming monitors has no wifi or Bluetooth connections, I like online multiplayer gameplay.

Hey Benjamin, the portable monitor just serve as a screen. The console or PC that you hook into it is what provides the connectivity. Hope that makes sense.

Epic fail review. Specially found this review to see Nintendo switch connected to it via usb cable, and to hopefully see if you can pass thru charge the switch by connecting the switch power supply to the monitor. Face palm....
