Japan is producing some seriously talented all female rock bands right now. Lovebites, Band Maid, Nemophila et al. You should watch some of the live performances. Swansong with piano etude and outro is well worth a watch! Great genuine reaction!
Yours is one of my favorite first time reactions to this band, and your reaction is exactly how I felt when I first heard this song which was also my first exposure to this band. I was totally blown away with the guitars, the vocals, the drums, their appearance and just the overall sound of the band. Then the solos come in and you realize you feel like you are in heaven. When the song ends you are left staring at the screen in wonder, thinking can this be real? Is it possible I just witnessed a band of angels playing? This band has so many wonderful and amazing songs like this one, almost all with a positive and uplifting message in the lyrics that build you up and make you happy. They sing in ENGLISH too which puts them over the top compared to all other bands from Japan, IMO. They are the total package, not just 95% of the package. They have a lot of fast tempo music, but IMO their slower tempo music is excellent as well like âEdge of the Worldâ and âEmpty Daydreamâ. I prefer them in a concert setting or live studio- for example âEmpty Daydreamâ is a mid tempo song I donât care for the album version as much as the concert version on YT because of the piano and acapello introduction. âShadowmakerâ live studio version is better than the album because a long scream by Asami is added in the middle- makes sense in the song. As long as YOU are having fun- thatâs what itâs about !!
OH yeah... and these ladies blow away the old smelly dudes usually associated with this genre- and I love it!! They do such a great job itâs indisputable!! I also love how they interact on stage, and their stage presence like how you always catch Haruna (drummer) singing the songs even though she doesnât have a voice mic- so sheâs just that into it!
LOVEBITES [japan] toured UK at the end of 2019 with Dragon Force. There, LOVEBITES guitarists miyako [black hair] and midori [blonde] had guitar battle with herman li. LOVEBITES is called " wolves in white dresses(çœăăăŹăčăçăçŒ)" in Japan. so they always wear white dress on stage. since 2017 they have released 3 albums, 3 BRDs, 2 live albums, 3 EPs,1 DVD and 1 single in japan. the best all female band in Japanese music history is LOVEBITES. therefore, other all female bands can't even see the back of LOVEBITES. their live is better than MV. miyako has been presented a guitar by Dean Japan and a signature guitar by Dean USA. LOVEBITES won metal hammer(UK) 2018 best new band and third album(electric pentagram) was selected as 20 metal albums in 2020.miyako and midori are top-level guitarists, and it is said that it is criminal to have two super guitarists in one band.
High energy, positive messages and world class musicians with a ex-ballerina vocalist who comes from a R & B/Jazz/Soul background and never sang for a metal band till she joined this group. You would also love their new MV Glory to the World (czcams.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/video.html). They are just as good and frankly better LIVE, there you can really appreciate the great musicianship and the flawless perfection they bring to their songs.

They have a lot of fast tempo music, but IMO their slower tempo music is excellent as well like âEdge of the Worldâ and âEmpty Daydreamâ. I prefer them in a concert setting or live studio- for example âEmpty Daydreamâ is a mid tempo song I donât care for the album version as much as the concert version on YT because of the piano and acapello introduction. âShadowmakerâ live studio version is better than the album because a long scream by Asami is added in the middle- makes sense in the song.
As long as YOU are having fun- thatâs what itâs about !!
OH yeah... and these ladies blow away the old smelly dudes usually associated with this genre- and I love it!! They do such a great job itâs indisputable!! I also love how they interact on stage, and their stage presence like how you always catch Haruna (drummer) singing the songs even though she doesnât have a voice mic- so sheâs just that into it!

LOVEBITES is called " wolves in white dresses(çœăăăŹăčăçăçŒ)" in Japan. so they always wear white dress on stage. since 2017 they have released 3 albums, 3 BRDs, 2 live albums, 3 EPs,1 DVD and 1 single in japan. the best all female band in Japanese music history is LOVEBITES. therefore, other all female bands can't even see the back of LOVEBITES. their live is better than MV. miyako has been presented a guitar by Dean Japan and a signature guitar by Dean USA. LOVEBITES won metal hammer(UK) 2018 best new band and third album(electric pentagram) was selected as 20 metal albums in 2020.miyako and midori are top-level guitarists, and it is said that it is criminal to have two super guitarists in one band.

Lovebites is a fantastic band. But you girl should listen to Wagakki band. I think it's right up your alley for you. Japanese rock / metal band that mixes modern and Japanese traditional instruments.
