He was compared to sachin tendulkar by sanjay subramanian. Sachin can play in sehwag as well as rahul dravid styles. His dikshitar renditions in vilamba kala are in the Dravid mode ! A multi dimensional and all rounded comprehensive genius is the maestro !

Who are the accompanists? Don't understand why they don't publish this information! They were just stunningly great. The violinist was superb and the percussion tani avartanam was beyond description.

What an outstanding rendition! I feel those musicians who sing only a few stanzas of this masterpiece are not doing justice to Bharathiyar's genius. Thanks, TNS sir! I wonder who chose the ragas for the various stanzas? Work of another genius, no doubt.
