    I don't have nearly enough George Kittle. He's now one of my favorite TEs to target this season.

      Unfortunately out of 25 money teams I have 0 shares of him!! Ferguson is my favorite value pick at position but unfortunately don’t have enough of him either!! People are reaching 30-40 positions on TEs!!

    I am seriously considering taking Mahomes in the middle of the third round. I have the sixth overall pick in a PPR re-draft league. In this league, the top quarterbacks are usually taken in the mid to late third round and early fourth. So if I don’t take Mahomes in the third, I won’t get him. I do view him as QB1 this season. How do you feel about a start of St Brown, Derrick, Henry, Patrick Mahomes?

      Good start, if you really believe Mahomes is QB1, then go for it

      @@FootballguysFantasy thank you, appreciate the reply! Only way I guess I should deviate is if unusual value falls in round 3. Meaning a player who shouldn’t be there, then I pivot and take the value.

    Been trying to get a lot of Kupp lately but when I have to pick between he and Metcalf I go Metcalf instead. I know Kupps first look reads are only 1% behind Pukas so I pass on Puka and love getting Kupp later if I can.

    Dak? Not buying the argument here. Chart his volatility 1.) game by game 2.) seasonally and you'll see he takes his owners on roller coaster rides. He's a gamble perennially. The totals he put up last year are not common place. And I'm not buying the argument at rushing argument at 10:30. You do you

    • @FootballguysFantasy
      @FootballguysFantasy  Pƙed 15 dny

      You asked us to chart the volatility and that’s exactly what Alfredo did.
      Over the last 3 seasons, Dak has been one of the most trustworthy fantasy QBs over the last 3 seasons.
      ◩ Been a Fantasy QB1 in nearly 60% of his games played over the last 3 seasons.
      ◩ Only 6 other QBs have been better than that.
      ◩ Top-12 Fantasy QB in every season that he has played the full schedule

      @@FootballguysFantasy By nearly 60%, I think you mean slightly more than half the time. As far as going top 12 in every season he's played all the games.. he's only done that half the time since 2020. He's currently in a walking boot. Even in 2023, his best statistical year, in one of my leagues, he was on the waiver wire TWICE and traded once. While anecdotal, it reflects his volatility, especially coming off his poor showing in 2022. The greater point that I'd like to make is, your thesis is the "safest players to draft in Fantasy Football," shouldn't include a highly volatile player who plays at the most volatile position. Between all fantasy positions, the QB position has the highest attrition in the top 12 rankings with only about 50% meeting expectations seasonally. In 22, Dak's ADP was 10, he finished 18th. In 23, his ADP was again 10th, he finished 3rd. That's a swing of 15 positions. (Keep in mind there are only 32 teams, so..) Where is he going to finish this year? If the roller coaster has anything to say about it, he'll be outside the top 12 either with an injury or inconsistent play. Even with the inclusion of George Kittle, I feel your essay isn't taking spike weeks into consideration as much as they should be. 9 weeks, Kittle failed to match projections. SIX of those weeks, he was below 6 points. On the flip side, his spikes are CRAZY! Kittle is known in my leagues as being a boom or bust TE. His numbers "annually" always turn out great. He'll win you weeks when he's on. But when he's not, his baseline is TE2 or 3. // Full Stop // Generally you guys are crushing it, and we all benefit from your hard work and perspectives. Please keep it up. I just happen to see the data telling a different story on Dak. It would be great to see him come through and be dependable as you suggest. The NFL is better when the Cowboys are competitive, even if they're the 2nd best team in Texas ;)
