There's a tiny texture mod that makes the new NCR flag the Classic one from Fallout 2. The one with big red NCR on the front. It's called Classic NCR Flag.

Reupload! And I wanna thank you all for your support on these videos! The only thing making this worth it is engaging with you guys. Dragbody overhauls don't have viruses. I use them with no issue. Most likely it's an antivirus software being too protective cause mine doesn't detect anything.

Friend when I enter the Novak Dragbody npc link I get the virus alert and my antivirus block tremendous adware, do you think that the work of this author or the page is safe?

@@hlbernation1786 But the shorteners download things that I don't even know but my antivirus blocks them, in the end I use my cell phone as a shield and copy the direct link and you're right, the mods themselves do not have the virus, but all the shorteners that one uses swallow xD

I would say overall classic mods from WebbProduction2020 would also do as he has mods that replace many armors and weapons which would definently make someone load order less cluttered and save some ESP slots.
Yes but I wanted to add classic armors to the game instead of replacing the vanilla ones with the classic.
I’m not sure if this one was covered at all but the mod *“Live Dismemberment”* gives the gore of the game a very classic feel.
The mod has enemies who have their limbs crippled to be blown off during combat where instead of instantly dying, they will flee if they lose an arm and slowly lose health, or if they lose a leg they will be floored and will slowly crawl away as they die from blood loss.
I definitely recommend that one to those who haven’t got it yet and like the classic fallout gore system.
I loved this mod but for some reason it doesn’t work for me anymore. I think it conflicts with many gameplay mods I have installed
It probably will conflict with a couple of gore mods you’ve mentioned in your videos, unfortunately. More or less a ‘pick one and one only’ sort of mod type.

Another mod I would recommend is Titans of the New West, which makes the Power Armors in the game much bigger just like how it was in Fallout 1 and 2.

The original Pipboy 2000 did not have a Geiger Counter on it so when you had to go to the Glow you buy a Geiger counter along with RadAway, 2 Rad X and Rope to do the Brotherhood quest without mysteriously dying while trying to leave the Glow and you constantly getting messages of receiving a large dose of radiation while exploring.
You always deliver even when you reupload! The quality of the content is incredible and much needed in the modding community!

Man seeing No Muntants Allowed repeatedly referenced in your notes made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. That site gave me a whole heap of extra fun for the classic games, from restoring all of the cut content to Fallout 2, to my first experiences with what was at the time, the extremely rare (they're still not exactly common, but compared to back in the day it's plentiful) total conversion mods.
Not to mention that the site forums were a great place, just gatekept enough to keep INT 1 NPCs at bay, but a wealth of information, comradery and laughs to those who picked up on the site's culture.
I think it's still going now, but it's been quite a while since I checked. I'm going to take a look after watching the rest of the video.
Thanks for posting these btw, hopefully down the line there will be enough new stuff released to make a part 3! Oh and a further thanks for everything you do dude, it's great to have a Fallout content creator that isn't entirely whitewashed with what the franchise has debased itself to and remembers, without the requirement of rose tinted glasses, what makes those first two games as special as they are, I really, really appreciate it.
Edit: DUDE! You HAVE to tell me what mod or whatever it is that gets you that Warpig belt buckle! I am a huge Motorhead fan (I was lucky enough to see them around 25 times before Lemmy's passing) and I would absolutely love to have access to that thing in my next playthrough. Thanks so much dude!

@@Mutant_Mods You have it on with the Tesla armour, you can see it pretty clearly at the 8:10 mark when you're firing the AK112. A large part of the reason I got (admittedly maybe a little bit too) excited when I saw it is that I actually own a belt buckle that's not too far off it IRL, which I just so happened to purchase for myself the very first time I saw Motorhead live. So as you can imagine that buckle has some sentimental value to me.

I have to say, doing this whole thing was a blast. I didn't bother with the texture mods or anything and a few mods straight up didn't work, but overall, it's a very satisfying project.

There's also a very subtle yet cool mod that I have installed (can't remember the name offhand tho) that disables the intrusive skill requirement messages in dialogue and makes it more like 1 & 2.
BTW citizen215a is working on other classic weapon replaces like the 10mm pistol and double-barrelled shotgun which are my personal favourites that he's working on

I was blown away by this video, editing was lit and some awesome mods i didn't know exist! How did you get the assault rifle and tesla armour mods work together? my mod manager says they got the same files lol

I think something thats overlooked is that classic fallout had NPC death animations, not ragdoll, so it would be cool to mod NPCs actually falling over with the plot sound effect the classics had. That and some deaths had those animations where NPCs turned into chared bones first, then melted.

Dragbodys npc overhauls- how do i get the mod to work? i downloaded the .rar files and extracted them. where do i drop them? in the game file named new vegas? the data folder inside that? or somewhere else? I feel like if i do what i think then ill mess the game up and it wont launch. I tried the classic fonts with accents mod and the game wouldnt launch. i messed with the ini files like the mod page says and it messed it up. dont want to mess this up because i want better npcs.
There's a mod that brings back the classic Wattz 1000 laser pistol btw. It's called "Classic Wattz Laser Pistol Replacer for the Laser Pistol".

Do yourself a favour and play it. Fallout 1 especially is my favourite game in the series. Not as replayable as the 3d games but still very unique.

Great video!!! One question: Which weapon animation mods are you using? When seeing the ak 112 and the video from the mod page for the classic fallout weapons and I have seen that they use custom animations and I don´t know if they are from the mod itself or from a separated one
I use FNV Clean Animations they look like they were already in the vanilla game and don’t mess with reload time.

Another good pip boy alternative can be the Pip Boy 2000 mk VI mod, this mod is a very nice looking pip boy, being a one to one copy of Fo76s pip boy, (wich I still think is the best looking 3d era non mod Pip Boy)
It is as the name suggests an upgraded 2000, with a more compact design while still keeping the core look of the oringinal.
And another plus is that your ssd stays pure free of any borderline criminal files lurking in the Frontier.

Cool video, made me reinstall and mod new vegas again. at 3:32 what did you do to make deathclaws look like that? Deathclaws Retextures overwrites the eyes of Horror of the New West deathclaws in my game.
I simply cut out the original deathclaw eyes from the vanilla textures in paint.net and placed them over the Deathclaw Retex eyes.

Hey Mutant Mods sorry to bother you again but how did you get the Desert Ranger Interface to use the default color if the font color is still green? Everytime I try it the HUD elements match the font. Does HUD Color Unified cause this maybe?
I honestly don't remember but using FICC all the HUD UI text color changes and then you can change colors of just the HUD using The HUD Editor mod. Messing with color options in the pause menu like Amber or Blue etc will revert all UI to default.

how to install pip-boy 2000 the Frontier I managed to install only meshes, but I entered the game the pip-boy does not have the textures and I don't know where to put the folder
It requires The Frontier and I recommend you use MO2 to install your mods.
