Hey Mr. Football, I have been wondering about some Defensive Matchups I see in the NFL.
Why don't Teams use a Tight End on Defense to Cover a Tight End on Offense?
Use The Number 2 Tight End on Defense in Man Coverage (assuming You run a One Tight End heavy Offensive Scheme)
I believe You could match Skillsets better than a Corner or Linebacker.
Using Kelce and Gronkowski as an example, if Kelce stays in to Block, so does Brate or Auclair (#2,#3 TE TB)
If Gronkowski goes out on a Route, so does Keizer or Jones (#2,#3 TE KC)
I think it would be a better Matchup than a CB or Linebacker.
Just wonder why They do not do This.
I know some Terminology, but squat about Rules and Scheme Strategy.
    Thanks Coach.

As an RB, I always check the backside LB, if you have him flow over the top, who is your cutback player?

weakside backer is a slow player. I tell my guys to stack the neck of the center in case it does cut back he's there to make the play. if he wants to cut it all the way back across the center into the weakside A Gap the 1 technique should make the play and so on and so fourth
