Since he loves the gate latch you all should make him a busy board with different latches, zippers, buttons, etc ! I work in childcare and those homemade busy boards are always a hit! Plus added bonus, fine motor skills and problem solving!

My guess is that it’s probably because Jessica talks into the camera and calls him by his name

Awe go luke go!! So awesome seeing him smash those milestones. I know he has low muscle tone, but I think having all those older siblings is motivating him to get moving so he is getting stronger. I don't see him letting his low muscle tone getting in his way of keeping up with everybody.

Parker's laugh is adorable and is making me laugh
I remember getting full fast while eating when I was a kid, and my mom would tell me she wanted me to finish my food. It was so hard for me! Sometimes I wonder if she would serve me adult sized servings, and maybe that's why it was hard for me to eat everything. Seeing Duncan just sit in front of his food reminded me of that.🤷🏻♀️

I love that monkey Joe is a sloth. ❤️ I have a stuffed dog that I thought was a cat when is was little, so I called him Yowie, which is what I thought cats said. Heehee

I feel like every kid goes trough the fase of calling their parents by their first names. I love that Parker is doing it right now. I remember annoying my parents so much because it was all I did haha
Is Parker becoming a sevenager?🤔 (7 year old developing the traits of a teenager. I probably made that up.😂) I noticed when he seems to have started referring to Chris by name instead of "Dad" and I know teens often go through that type of rebellious stage where they call their parents by name instead of "Mom and Dad."
It's normal amongst a lot of my friends and their kids and my kids have done it at different times so may not be unusual for their family. A lot of kids are told to do it when they spend a fair bit of time in really busy environments with lots of other families so it's not just another little voice saying mum or dad.
I think when younger kids do it, they are copying the other parent. They hear the parents actual name and decide to call them that.
it's mostly kids around Parker's age who call their parents by their names, mostly because it's usually around that age that they find out their parents have names other than mom or dad so they use them alot
Hey guys, thanks for the replies and the information. Yeah I guess I have known kids who would call their parents by name. I guess there would be different reasons as to why they would do that. The reason why I thought of "rebellious sevenager" is because I've also known teens to do that as a sign of developing the rebellious stage of growing up and going through different life changes if that makes sense. I also noticed that Jessica didn't seem to like it when Parker does it so I just kinda thought it was him showing a little rebellious side to him. 😂 I've also noticed that he seems to have already developed kind of a teen mannerism in the way he talks but I think that might mostly be Colleen's influence. 😂 I'm hoping none of this is coming off as sounding judgey at all.
@@BeeKee404 Oh don't worry, you didn't sound judgy at all (I think the way I phrased that sounded passive aggressive but I'm not trying to be.) I do agree, a lot of times kids will do it to annoy their parents, and yeah, he's probably a little bit influenced by Colleen. Anyways, have a good day/night.

For the chocolate orange, you are to hold it in your hand and slam down on the sticker to break it. You can get them in the USA. I have found them at Rite-Aid and a few other places.
We have them in Canada too! They only come at Christmas time they’re my Favorite lol
