Yeah. Amir is so underrated. I'm not a vocal coach. But every time he sings live i feel like everything is on point from the first note till end. He know his voice very well.

You're one of my fav reactor and I'm so touching when you react to my top favorite malay singer which is Amir Masdi. Thankyou so much! His vocal is insane international level. Thats why I'm supporting him till today. I really recommend for you to react to him cover "seize the day" if you know that song then you know how high and hard the song is to sing but he'll amaze you with his amazing voices!! Actually Amir Masdi is the most talented singer compared with other young singer because of his high notes and ability to control his breathing that
makes the song he sings very good. But for me, his talent is not praised by the music industry in malaysia instead singers who do not have talent and dissenting voice are more popular and in demand. I'm Izzuddin from Malaysia and always like Amir Masdi. I'm your supporter! Thank you.
When I knew he learned all the vocal things from CZcams, it amazed me! And yeah, it doesn't matter if he sings live or not. Because trust me, he sounds the same when singing live! Love your explanation and reaction ❤️

You've listened to his high notes mainly, some low notes. But this song has many more very very low notes that if i only listened and not watched the cover, I wouldn't know it was him until he sings higher 'normal low notes' 😅😅😅😅

If I may suggest to u my personal fave of Amir Masdi's 🤗
1. The Sound of Silence (Simon and Garfunkle/Disturbed - cover) - I love his low notes here.
2. Man in the Mirror (Michael Jackson - cover) - I personally feel uplifted and motivated to do good more after listening to this.
3. #JammingHot : Amir Masdi - Asmara (own single - live) - Since u asked about his live performance. This is my fave other than the AJL/SFMM.
4. AJL34 Medley (Amir Masdi x Sharul Kamal) - on Aepol Roza's YT channel. There are 3 parts. I personally would recommend Part Two - I enjoy listening to this more. It gives out happy vibes 😆

He was the winner of Akademi fantasia season 9 (if im not mistaken). Its a reality show with all the vocal training and etc. You may watch his final performance. Super cool tone for a new comer to the industry back then.
