- Took a trip out to NYC’s perfect new skatepark the other day for a solo session. I really enjoyed skating the park and met a lot of really cool people there. This skatepark is located on 90th street in Rockaway beach.

Man this was so laid back and perfect to watch during my lunch break. I just started riding for the first time ever on a cruiser board and am 28 yrs old. Once I get the hang of pushing, balancing and turning, I hope I can build up the courage to try a “regular” board and learn tricks

so nice to see new parks built. This will help with giving kids an outlet and something to do other than get into trouble. Plus, skateboarding in generally all-inclusive, so these new parks are an investment for our future.
Found your channel about a month ago, started watching the 50 states 50 tricks videos and couldn't stop, that was an incredible watch, genuinely documentary level of interesting, all the random people and random skate parks in the middle of nowhere, the stories of the people you skated with, that guy who skates on his own because his friends moved to Canada, the ex pro bmx dude with the non profit indoor park, the places you went to eat and the people there too, all amazing. I used to skate but stopped 15 years ago. I started again partly because of that series. Just wanted to say thanks
Yo chad I really appreciate your videos. You really remind me of one of my cousins that had fallen into drugs and alcohol and went clean for 2 years. He took up skating again and we always skate together. He is such a inspiration to me so that’s why I love your vids so much( also you’re pretty awsome at skating) keep up the good work ❤️

Great video. Love this channel, I skated a lot when I was a teenager. Haven’t done it in about 11 years. Recently picked up a board again at 31. Haven’t really been out on it much yet though. Need to change that.

I didn't know they opened it for the skaters, i had to hop the fence the last few times i went but i'm gonna drop by there asap! I really like this park and its not too far from me.
The word hubba originates from the hubba hideout spot that was a super tall down ledge. In the beginning hubba just meant a really high down ledge. It’s funny how now people call tiny little down ledges at skateparks hubbas.

They need way more small obstacle parks like these. Newline Skateparks keeps designing xgames parks for people and all the hubbas are too tall for people to learn on. Seems like they are stuck in 2005 or just want to cater to bmx riders or something. Great video as always!

hey chad, i am from placerville CA, an hour and a half from reno towards sacramento, we have a local park here in placerville, and i also just made some diy 2 foot quarter pipes. would be awesome if we could link now that u will be so close! im a beginner skateboarder but there is some really good people that go to placerville. thanks man 👍

gosh, i wish they would make something that awesome around here in ohio we have a new 400k hudson ohio skatepark but its like all vert or nothing.
Dude..... that Hudson park is sweet! Definitely don't need to be a vert skater to enjoy it. It's got a lot of the similar obstacles as this video
@@mikepottle3604 wish there was a halfpipe tho the one 3 foot quarters so steep and the only good 4 foot is all the way across the park from the other side that's steep without coping lol

Just use your fist and hit them in the face a little bit that works for me.
Probably confirmation bias. Also scooters seem to attract the younger crowd and they're still learning how to interact with the public.
