En verdad que le quedó hermoso, amo todo lo relacionado con lo naval del siglo XVIII y el H.M.S VICTORY es mi buque de guerra favorito, lo tengo tatuado en mi antebrazo izquierdo con la frase “FORTIS FORTUNA ADIUVAT” (la fortuna favorece a los valientes) ya que fue el buque insignia de Lord Nelson durante las batallas napoleónicas y a pesar de que los buques de la armada Franco-española eran más en cantidad los ingleses lograron vencer gracias a su temeridad, coraje y valor y además el Victory pudo hundir al que fue llamado como el “Escorial de los mares”, el buque español más grande y poderoso de su época, NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA SANTÍSIMA TRINIDAD, mejor conocido como El Santísima Trinidad.

This is fantastic. The rigging (to me, the part the makes you or breaks you) is so detailed and beautiful. Every detail in this construction is what many hope to achieve. Honing the skills and patience is paramount. To have a ship on display, of this quality, would make anyone who built it proud. For such a model it was a very good idea to take a break and first gain experience to build a more historically accurate VICTORY...
If I had a $5 for every "Victory at Trafalgar" model out there, I would be a rich man. I never much liked her and definitely not as outfitted in the repair of 1802-03. Her older, open galleries version is far more beautiful and far more deserves modeling. But... each to his own. To me - give me a 17th century ship anytime.

Wow! Your model is incredible, but the video of the build is also next-level. I built a much less intricate model of the Endevour a few years ago, and am in awe of your skill. Having spent hours on the rigging of a much simpler build, I can appreciate (to some extent) the skill needed to pull off such a magnificent model. But I have built ships before in both wood and plastic and alot of other type models over 50 some years...
And I've done real restorations on real cars and motorcycles...
Even a tank once...lol
But your desire and expertise in doing these ships are way beyond compare...

Carissima Olga ho 73 anni e nella mia vita , non ho visto mai una perfezione del genere in un modello complimenti vivissimi, sai dopo 50 anni ho tirato dal mio garage una Victory della Sergal costruita all'epoca a metà scafo completo ma non riesco a trovare più i piani per continuare, ho visto che tu hai un bel libro dove si può apprendere per la costruzione del modello, mi interessa alberature e sartiame ,se mi potresti dire come posso fare ti ringrazio e ti rinnovo i miei più affettuosi Saluti e ringraziamenti.

Ho usato principalmente il libro HMS VICTORY (1805) by ALAN McGOWAN (numero 27) ma c'è anche un altro bel libro The Anatomy of NELSON'S SHIPS by C. Nepean Longridge (numero 31), peccato averlo trovato solo quando ho costruito il mio modello. Dovrebbero essere disponibili su Evolpean Amazon...
