I think this is the CH03, it doesn't say anything on the machine or the manual. I have really only used this machine for embroidery but today I thought I would try it FMQ with a ruler foot and she is brilliant. Bit awkward as I am used to an 11 inch throat space on my Necchi but this week I got a Hoop Frame so the Necchi is on there (see tomorrows bonus episode)
The CH03 & CH05 are identical it's just when they were made. Love your narrative because it shows syndrome whose using the medicine for the first time and the difficulties they can/will come across. I'm sure I'll be exactly the same. I've had mine for over 2 years and haven't unpacked it yet due to illness X

I have used different fabrics (cotton, muslin, vinyl and fur) and have had no difficulties so unsure what it is. If you are on face book we can do a live chat where you can show me what you are doing (I'll try to do the same) and see if we can sort it out
I could piece a large quilt on this machine. It would be difficult but you could FMQ a large quilt on this machine. I have done a 6ft x 7ft FMQ on another of my machines which only has just over 5 inch throat space. I have mislaid the stitch plate for the moment. I have spent a few hours searching for it. All I could do is read what the manual says I cannot demonstrate as I have the single hole stitch plate on at the moment.
I am struggling a bit to understand how to start using my machine but this video gives me the motivation to keep learning 😍

Can you show me how to change my stitch on the sewing machine not the embroidery machine
I only use this machine as an embroidery machine I have a Necchi for my main sewing machine. Do you have a manual that explains this to you

This is the same machine as an Eversewn Sparrow X2. I do not recommend it. Owners have too many problems.
I do recommend it as your first step into embroidery as it has worked well for me. It is also a back up to my sewing machine.
