Love the video, shirt and the dragon fly laugh! Did the lake at 6:30 am with the sunrise after a Loas border run 😊 in January 2019. Not many boats; it was beautiful. The 1st park you went to was so large and fun to walk around. Great memories. I didn’t have transport so I couldn’t visit much. My hotel checkin lady had her uncle take me around for a reasonable fee (plus a nice tip for the spur of the moment request). :-).

Years ago on this night my fully lit lantern, which had gone up about 30 feet but then fell quickly, almost crashed onto a guy's head. I ran full sprint at him and grabbed it literally inches from landing on his skull. He just looked at me and smiled. Lol, lanterns were then banned in Bangkok the year after, so I no longer have to worry about the dangers.

Would’ve been nice to see those busy streets and markets. Hope after Nong Khai you went back to capture some more of the city.

I bought a lot of tools at stores there. I would by German Pumpernickel Bread at the Robinson's Supermarket bakery. You had to phone them 24 hrs in advance, as they flew in frozen dough from Germany. so they had to thaw the dough, let it rise 2X then Bake it. It was usually ready by 12 noon. I golfed many times at monkey forest 7 Km 19 Golf courses.
I think those Lotus flowers only bloom in winter season, but I'm not sure.

The Capital of Khon Kaen 10 years ago had hardly any Falang. Now there are loads of expats and tourists. Its never been popular because as you say in other videos its sooo very flat. Also its land locked so no beautiful beaches like in the south. Despite all this I love the place . The people make it great.
