The Lotus flowers were really pretty, festival looks like a fun way to send your 2021 troubling thoughts away.
The stem of the lotus flower is a very good vegetable to eat with Somtum. It's my personal favorite.
Absolutely loved your other lotus flower video too as it was so beautiful. But the quality of your camera, drone shots, filming the water and the driver now, is next level. Cathy and Kevs x
Awesome video! I was born and lived there for about ten years before moving to the USA. Watching this makes me miss my home country so much. Goal is to continue to work hard so I can afford a comfortable retirement back home in Thailand. Thank you for sharing.
Man I‘m such a fan boy of yours now. What have you done! I watch like every video now 😍 This video was soooo magical! Loved the end of this video 😍😍
Thanks paddy another great video I love Thailand and I've never been but watching your videos makes me feel like I've been there maybe one day I can see it for real 🤞👌👍
It’s so gorgeous ! Thank you for sharing, feels like I’m exploring with you ☺️
Yay!!! Finally you made it to my family’s hometown 👏🙏
Nice celebration! It was fun seeing you in the classroom as well! Thanks, Paddy, and good travles!
It's very relaxing for me to watch your channel. Thanks! Keep up the great work. :)
Love the flowers and the celebration looks like fun. Thanks for taking us along.
Great episode. Watched it all the way through. Very informative and entertaining.
Love the video, shirt and the dragon fly laugh! Did the lake at 6:30 am with the sunrise after a Loas border run 😊 in January 2019. Not many boats; it was beautiful. The 1st park you went to was so large and fun to walk around. Great memories. I didn’t have transport so I couldn’t visit much. My hotel checkin lady had her uncle take me around for a reasonable fee (plus a nice tip for the spur of the moment request). :-).
We just did our loy kathong celebration yesterday here in Austin Texas. Rained all day. It took you several tries Paddy but you finally did hit a home run in the last lake park.
Hi Paddy nice one again , we drove to Chiangmai for Loy Krathong this year fantastic time . Loved the singing 😁🎤stay safe Chris & Mam .
So nice this VDO.
I love to see what you present your content!!!!
NIce video, I hope to see more of Udon Thani in the next one.
And congratulations for your past milestone - 5 Million views - and the future one - 50K subscribers !
Good vibes again in this video thanks for the journey Paddy 🙏
great memories.. Udon Thani and loy krathong in bangkok and pattaya.. thoughts of loy krathong in chaing mai as you launched your krathong. Sang the song in thai (with youtube help) on the day and wished the same. A strong possibilty if things continue to improve. Cheers to all.. we will see a better day.
Peter.
your video is so amazing! subscribed! keep it up
Hiya Paddy, Beautiful video. Cool tunes. Always good vibes. Beautiful drone footage. Your videos are always enjoyable. Thanks for just being you. You always make me smile. Thank you for sharing. *Happy Thanksgiving to you and Miss P.* Have a great weekend.
Love Loy Krathong, thanks for doing it for us 💗
Nice video! Ah I saw my group dance in your video too. And I dance in there too.
Lovely loy krathong seen and a lotus filled, very interesting, I was in Phuket Karon beach for Loy krathong festival, it’s was very nice and now I am back to Canada, thank you for sharing always love your show and your jiggle 😁
First time we went I wanted to go for Loy Krathong which we saw and took part in in Bangkok .. think that’s where we got our love of Thailand and we’re so hoping that we get back in March if this new Covid variant doesn’t cause more restrictions to be put in place 🤞.. I really want to go to Udon Thani .. thinking of hiring a car and travelling that way for a week or so as part of our holiday 😊.. and your videos keep me going until we get there again 🥰
One of my favourite videos so far x
This looks very relaxing
Love your energy. Thank you 😊
When you take a holiday in Thailand, you will use 2 words wow & Amazing and you will want to comeback for sure, the memories will stay with you forever.your next dreams
Paddy thanks for letting us experience Loy Kratong with you.
Here's to a fresh start and blessings to all! 🌕
Tqvm for sharing . TQ Mr Paddy Doyle
I like everything you had shared, thanks
Thank you Paddy for your videos. You really show Thailand as a wonderful, exciting and a great tourist destination. Your positivity is inspiring to make people travel again. Take care
This was great!
Thanks Paddy. Glad to get rid of all my bad s..t from the last year.
Seems like a nice and so peaceful celebration.
I've never been " Talay-noy " but I came over here with great impression . I got in the boat before the crack of dawn , it was chilly and shrouded in mist ..👍
Years ago on this night my fully lit lantern, which had gone up about 30 feet but then fell quickly, almost crashed onto a guy's head. I ran full sprint at him and grabbed it literally inches from landing on his skull. He just looked at me and smiled. Lol, lanterns were then banned in Bangkok the year after, so I no longer have to worry about the dangers.
Another place on my bucket list to visit
Nice song. Thanks Paddy!
I totally forgot that you were on K&N’s Channel.
I have followed them for 4 years. But found you just 4-5 months ago! 🌸☺️
The world is amazingly small though. ☺️🌸
A lot of foreigners live in or near Udon Thani btw. Don’t forget to visit these province city’s museums. They’re not over whelming (45 minutes will do) but quite informative and usually the displays are professionally done.
if i’m not wrong there’s a place call Banchiang
Beautiful!
Great video and allowing us to share Loy Krathong with you. Can’t wait when you make it to Korat, it’s where i was from. 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thank you for visits Udonthani im a local here anyway which camera gears you did use for this vlog?
Carbon-neutral Barbie/Cone Krathong? Thanks for the cone story, 👍. Very interesting.
Hi Paddy, i love your content, could you do a video on what cards/payment method you yse when in thailand? i'm planing on a 3 month trip but finding it confusing what to do money wise, keep up the good work 👍🏻
สวยงามมากค่ะ
Very nice video. I have been leaning towards Chiang Mai for retirement, but Udon Thani looks like a nice area as well that I never considered before. I wish I did not have arachnophobia from the huge spiders found in Thailand (especially the rural areas).
Very nice. Thanks.
I miss you I will tell you what time school will open and you can come see you in soon
I'd have guessed Nong Prajak park. It's usually packed at 1630-1800.
Paddy, in the end you said you didn’t want to show only the city, but in fact you have shown barely anything of the actual city. Where were those markets that made you feel like in Bangkok? Would’ve been nice to see those busy streets and markets. Hope after Nong Khai you went back to capture some more of the city.
I bought a lot of tools at stores there. I would by German Pumpernickel Bread at the Robinson's Supermarket bakery. You had to phone them 24 hrs in advance, as they flew in frozen dough from Germany. so they had to thaw the dough, let it rise 2X then Bake it. It was usually ready by 12 noon. I golfed many times at monkey forest 7 Km 19 Golf courses.
I think those Lotus flowers only bloom in winter season, but I'm not sure.
I only go because of the Airport- I need to spend more time there!
Good job paddy at the lake of pink Lilly water
Like the English rendition of Loy Krathong song. Fantastic!
น่าภูมใจที่คุณชอบชนบทของประเทศไทย
ที่นี่มีสิ้งดีๆๆให้คุณได้พบและศึกษา อาหารก็อร่อย
Visit Phu Phra Bat historical Park in Udon Thani and try dancing shrimps food if you haven’t tried yet.
Hello Khun Paddy you sing a beautiful song.
Udon Thani is the second largest city in Isan region after Korat.
It is not ... it was 3rd or 4th, no way it is bigger than khon kaen
New sub. Found your channel through Ryan at Naked Guru. Had to watch this video even though it was a little painful. My ♥️ lives in Udon and we miss each other immensely. Enjoy your videos. Love your honest and open personality. 👍
So cool
Udon big city.I want to watch again around night market and life at night… Do you have vlog about this?
Hey paddy! random question for when we go to Thailand, what phone/plan do u recommend while traveling there.
Well done!
Much better with the offerings being made from wafer! Great to see these kind of changes in places where people often have the perception that they don't care about the environment. Really checked off a massive amount of the provinces now - you clear on what you'll do when you've completed the lot?
hilarious and informative thanks! will share with everyone. cliffworks in tokyo
ผมคนอุดรโดยกำเนิด ยินดีต้อนรับครับ
Well... right in my backyard... but I agree with you. Not as good as the other place
I have been to Nong Prajak Park many many moons ago & it didn’t look anything like what it does now!! I will definitely be heading there in February 2022 Watching this vlog from California makes me long to get there even sooner! Love the lotus lake and thanks once again for sharing your vlog 🙏 Hope to see more of udon Thani 😊
That shirt🤣🤣🤣. Maybe that why the dragon fly ran into you. That shirt made it dizzy
No the three fluffy ducks landmark of Udontani on this clip?
Hi Paddy good morning. You look smart in that shirt.😂
Crush a handful of crisps and throw it into that lake and see what happens. There are a LOT of huge fish in there. They won't let the locals lift tham.
Great vid mister Doyle, but the end hmm.... you almost nailed it Thailand got talent something for ya 😉😂🤣😂🤣 C Ya in the next one, cheers 🙌🍻
Loy Krotong involves hand-made mini boats that float “away”. I would not do this because I don’t want all the pandemic luck that came my way starting in May 2020. Coronavirus vaccine stocks, baby! While I’m with Ken for his cinematography, I’m with you for your giggles and sense of humor. Loving everything about it!
Another purpose for Loy Kratong is to sacrify water goddess to give thank for water that we used and ask for forgiveness that we released waste water into nature. We will wait for you at Sakhonnakorn I believe that you have got so many fc here and other provinces .too .
I missed home town 😪 😢
You look like Michael J. Fox when you wear a face mask. So cute : D
I’ll be in Udon Thani in December, do you know when they do Loy Kratong?
Yes ... hmmm well... My wife is from Isaan and we spend alot of time there when we can. It is probably to be fair not a big tourist destination . The Capital of Khon Kaen 10 years ago had hardly any Falang. Now there are loads of expats and tourists. Its never been popular because as you say in other videos its sooo very flat. Also its land locked so no beautiful beaches like in the south. Despite all this I love the place . The people make it great.
It is classified as one of the five strangest lakes in the world.
And the Ban Chiang civilization is over 3- 5,500 years old.
Paddy, have you visted
Naga Cave ( snake cave ) at Bueng Kano Province.
Go to the Thai temple for morningborey and giving food to the buddha in the morning.
Festival on mekong river, The Naga fireball.
You're visit lots of province more than me. Even I'm from Thailand. lol
มาเที่ยวบึงกาฬด้วยน่ะ..
Like the shirt 👍🏼😀
Wow !
Paddy do not forget to visit Bancheing Musume!
good song👍😁🇹🇭
And narun will have badminton race in next Saturday
I Think the same, Tale noi in phattalung is more epic.
Great video, Paddy! Enjoyed learning more about Loy Krathong and how to make the experience better for our environment. Looking forward to your next adventure!
