- On today’s episode, we finally take a look at my wife’s wagon. We don’t do any of the real work I’ve been putting off for months, but we do wash the grime off and make sure it still runs.
I love it. I dig coronet wagons hard.
Don't you know it's hip to be square? Lol per usual, love it. I would love something like that
I had a 67 coronet 2 door 6 cylinder old local police car ,was a good vehicle. Treated me great drove the snot out of it .our family had 1960 Chevy Bel Air wagon with the six seat option. 283 automatic white. Replaced in 1966 with a dodge polara 4 door white 383 2 barrel another great car. When I got it in 70 I put dual exhaust from a sears kit cragars and lifted it up. Good times in that vehicle. Then came the best. in 70 we got a charger 500 383 4 bl auto 330 hp. not the magnum 335hp. now i am in heaven .but could not drive because they could not afford insurance for a 16 yr old
I'm digging this ride. Also dig the sunn((o))) sticker in the back window.
I had a 67 cornet station wagon with a 440 and it rocked I put some mags on it and took it down main drag
Love that wagon. I have my dad's 66 Coronet 500 4 door sedan that he bought new. Still has it's original 273 2bbl.
Nice! The 273 is an excellent engine. In my live stream the other day, someone suggested I build a 273 screamer. I really want to do that at some point.
@@DeadDodgeGarage Cool. That was my goal, too, when I rebuilt Dad's engine. I was going to make it a 273 Commando but my engine builder convinced me to keep it stock. Unfortunately, the 0.030 over flat top pistons that I got from Egge's sit low in the holes and the compression is lower than it should be. It runs great with the Isky E-4 cam that I put in but it sucks gas like a big block. I have a factory 273 4bbl intake in my garage for whenever I source a proper AFB, but I'm not putting it on until I decide to pull the motor again and do it the way I had intended with high compression.
OMan sweet ride!!
Cool wagon
Station wagons are cool.
For some reason gas and diesel are still climbing but driving these jewels gives us smiles per gallon 😁
Wagons are cool.
Id have to put a set of Mopar trumpet exhaust tips on the wagon cause it would sound good!!
It sounds pretty good with just the 2 1/2” bare pipes. Haha.
Cool old wagon! I like the magnum 500's on it! Its definitely worthy of a restore in the future! Really dig the Sunn amp sticker on the rear glass! The perfect band wagon! Thanks for sharing!
Oh yeah. It’s dragged gear to more than a few loud rock shows. Haha. It’s much better at it with the new leaf springs we put in. It used to have a bad case of the sags…
This is a treasure. I waaant.
A friend in Oregon just bought an identical one, and I think it will be available!
@@DeadDodgeGarage Hello! I was wondering if you would mind telling us if it has become available, and if so, how to contact. Thanks!
LOVE THAT WAGON! Would make a most excellent tow vehicle for my 67 R/T…
I tried you my 91 Dodge truck for it's got the 318 in it right now is the roller 318 and I have a new 360 to put in it I got a new cam all that to go with it
No, we won’t be selling this one. I’m selling just about everything else though. Haha. Also, just saying, we paid quite a bit more than the average gasser D/W series truck is worth for it.
You could check the fuel gauge to see how much fuel it has .
It sure would be nice if that worked. Lol.
There is this Mopar guy b CZcams that has really great instructions on how to fix that
@@RustyFuel What?! I'll have to check out his videos! 😅
why does the station wagon get the cool V-shaped rear roof pillar like the 2-door has? but the four-door gets the square, vision blocking, chunky pillar? I'm kinda pissed being a 4 door owner! 👍👍loved it does it have the rear seat?
No rear seat on this one. If we ever find one that would be exciting. I don’t know but it’s cool. Haha. We had a four door 67 for a while. I traded it for a boat, and years later (this year in fact) found it at my friend’s shop being parted out.
You want to sell it
