Exactly he is giving false information because i have shingles right now and it is on both of my legs and buttcheeks. I got it from the waist down. But its only on the back of my legs and butt.

I wish ER doc had better information. I didn’t have the rash until the 5th day. The involuntarily muscle contractions down my entire trunk were debilitating. He told me I probably pulled a muscle 🙄 So I didn’t get anti-virals till the 5th day. Spent a year on Gabapentin for the pain. I feel it wouldn’t have been so much damage to my nerves if I got the anti-virals in the ER 😢
This is so untrue I've had it so many times on both sides it's not even funny you should never tell people that it's hard enough to get people to believe you when you have it on both sides and now you're saying that please take this down or correct it
So if Shingles only appears on one side why do most l the images I see show people with blisters all over their abdomens & people who get it on their hands & feet often have bilateral outbreaks?
I currently have shingles, for pain I am using Lodocain cream, and I filled a spray bottle with very high quality Iodine liquid with these two ingredients it lasted a week hope this helps someone 😊
I disagree. Shingles can disseminate, they don't always hurt, and some symptoms in shingles can be so mild, the person may not even notice. But I could be wrong

Sounds like shingles. I have them currently and my area was the side of my torso/buttock on left side. It started with sensitive skin, even clothes rubbing would hurt, getting a bit stronger for 3 days then hives which turned to blisters. It's been a week now and the blisters look nasty but appear to be healing and the pain has been improving for 3 days now. The pain was really bad for the worst 3 days.
What can you do if you can’t afford to go to the doctor? I live in US nightmare healthcare! I’d rather be in Canada and wait for my meds….at least I’d get them at some point.
Last year I got erythema multiforme, now I have shingles. I’m having a hard time to get the medication for it as it takes weeks or months to see a doctor where I live in Canada.
Ever heard of disseminated shingles? That occurs all over the body. How could you give such false information?

Same here and actually had no pain just intense itching but the stripes were a dead giveaway that it's shingles

I’ve had shingles 5 times, not all episodes were painful and it can be on both sides of the body.

If it’s not shingles and it’s on both sides of body what is it? Have rash and itches and painful but after a week still no blisters.
