We need tutorial to install this mod
this r34 sounds like brian's r34
Mine uses Brian's actual sound. czcams.com/video/oXNlDOd9lA8/video.html
That's because the devs used a skyline with similar tuned skyline to have it recorded into the game
14:35 Perfectly fits
RB26 pro engine sounds absolutely perfect.
sounds like Brian's Nissan Skyline from Fast and Furious 2
Yes definitely
It‘s just the original in game stock car sound.

same here but there's a bug on every nfsu2 I download, it needs a "disc 2" thingy which I don't know how to fix

@knightrider2k43 oh thanks it worked I can finish NFSU2 again :D
@@greenpeas57 simple solution: find a NO CD patch to NFSU2 (depending if you have the EU or US version and the latest of the game),copy to the game root folder and thats all
@@greenpeas57 had a similar issue like that before but only worked after i downloaded the game from different web site ( ik its late to comment lmao )
That extreme civic sounds like an s2k lol I love it tho good stuff 👌👌
Thats Typr-r sound
the 4age extreme engine & 2jz street engine could get a bit more work imo but otherwise a really great overhaul
The 4age sounds like a honda s2000 vanilla, but trust me, the sound was extracted from pro street, i just lowered the max rpm to match the one in the game, since it would be weird to have the sound go all the way to 11k rpm and the game just redline at 9k rpm, same with supra street it was also from pro street, I'll look around if i can find a clear engine dyno sound of thr supra, is pretty difficult since shitty sound and cameras shoved in the exhaust makes for hours after hours of wasted time on CZcams
one funny thing, the street engine of the 2jz is actually the stock one in nfs pro street
@@paburrito kinda sounds like a Ferrari in my opinion
good job 👍
@@paburrito can you change some stock sounds?also can you make a different version of the mod where you just have drag the files into the game and that's it because if nfs vlted is needed for this mod....nfs vlted doesn't work

If NFSU2 ever will get an remaster or remake, this should be installed by default.
Keep going!
You know mods exist that remaster this game...
the B16 is the best so far imo
Best thing to happen ever, thank you. I hate it when they made multiple engines sound the same once they're topped out on modifications.
I just really disliked the fact they used the Ferrari 360 Modena for several cars, so i just wanted to fix that issue and also the other overused engines as well
@@paburrito I noticed this! My Skyline my IS300 the two rotary powered Mazdas. What were they thinking!

The Evo is just so awesome! Instead of the VTEC sound it normally uses, this realistic 4G63 is so much better!!
Same with the 2G Eclipse that used 6G72 sounds (from 3G Eclipse/3000GT VR-4). But it is funny that the first NFS that got the 4G63T sound right was NFS Carbon.
I'm having eargasms because of RX-8's sound, it's so good i can listen to it all day mi~
nice work damn
iths makes me so much to play again damn
The rx7 , em1 extreme, supra pro and extreme sounds sooo damm good 😍 the eclipse was spot on too!
Still strange to see by default why Black Box till NFS World always used the 6G72 sound while in reality this car used the same 4G63T found in the Evo 1-9. Plus the 2G Eclipse never came with a V6 variant while the 3G/4G Eclipse yes.
@@HeroManNick132 that is true, that engine came in the 3000gt yet they used that sound, so weird but I guess they weren't too much into details back in those days in terms of sounds
@@StraightOutThaGudda4U I probably know why. Because they got a sound from an Eclipse but they didn't realise that is not the same sound as this Eclipse was taken from.
And in the sound files it says it was recorded from 2000 Eclipse which is basically the 3G Eclipse. The 2G Eclipse stopped production in 1999 and it got replaced with the uglier 3G Eclipse that hasn't been into any NFS.
At least in NFS Pro Street Black Box realised that it had I4 but they didn't use the sound from Evo and instead they used the exaggarated chev_cav_a from NFS UG2 and the upgraded sound till NFS World was from 6G72.
Finally from NFS World they got mit_eclip_c which was the proper 4G63T sound (even if they got earlier like mit_evo8_a and mit_evo9_a). But for some reason they kept mixing it with the 6G72 sound as TMX variant which again what to say about.
At least in GIN format it sounds like proper 4G63T (as you hear the stock sound used for both cars is from the NFS World sound called mit_eclip_c).
It is funny how sometimes for Black Box took so long to realise 1 simple thing.
@@HeroManNick132 it takes devs really long to realise the most basic things in the boom but I can agree on what you said
I’m gonna be honest, I truly loved all the sounds of the Toyota Corolla GT-S! (AE86) ❤️🔥💕⭐️😍
Digging through the files, the original sounds from the game are actually correct with the car, but that extreme engine upgrade could use some extra flare, specially for how screamy the 4A-GE can get, happy you like them so far tho
The gtr's sound was really need to edit. Thank you for your hard work
You know that he fixed only half of the cars and he just recently dropped the next update. Other cars will be harder to fix like the SUVs. Also don't forget that it requires researching how these cars sound like, propriate sounds from other NFS and other racing games etc.
VQ35DE - Pro Engine; a sound that is known and loved by many from across the world.
So you'll ignore that extreme VQ35DE sounds like straight-piped VQ35DE? And it is funny that this sound is from NFS Carbon but unused. Seems Black Box wanted as extreme to sound like "Nismo washing machine".
@@HeroManNick132 - oy, chill out. I know that it’s straight-piped but I’m only pointing out how everyone knows the sound. It’s not that serious.
@@Pluvillion Yeah... But I mean honestly this one is better than the NFS UG2 one. I'm not saying is bad but the straight-piped one sounds insaner and better in my opinion.
rb26dett in pro variant sounds just like the skyline we all know and made us fall in love with jdm 🤤
It is more like single turbo RB26DETT.
@@HeroManNick132 I dont know it just says stock, street, pro and extreme like it would mean anything
its the same like people be saying the saying they made an "Stage 1 tune" like it would mean anything
@@rafcion6726 I mean this sound is subject to change but the stock RB26DETT sounds like the R34 in NFS 2015/Heat even GT Sport has this sound. The traditional NFS UG2 is straight ripped from 2F2F which is a mix of RB25/RB30DET with 2JZ single HKS turbo and Tibular manifold.
Also it has kinda the same tone as 1JZ too so the default sound that is used for pro is kinda mix of these engines but I mean heavily modified RB26DETT sounds like but not Twin-Turbo however more like single turbo.
Bravo mate!! You did an outrageous job!! Thats one spectacular mod! People like you in NFS UG2 community are the reason that UG2 is revived back from dead!!

But its am turbo Sound and the 350z ist na
Nice to hear carbon 350z_c in UG2
Now to really top it off, try and get some sputters and sweeteners added to bring it in line with the other sounds. Also make sure you're using the latest version of car sound tuner so that they actually play. It does sound like you got constant RPM recordings down, which is what a lot of these sound mods of old were missing.
The stock Toyota/Lexus sound’s like a V6 instead straigh 6 even tho, those engines sound so superb, tomorrow I will download the game and mod the sounds
Bear in mind that this is not the final form ( Heheh ) so there exists the chance of the game ending in an eternal loop in the loading screen, but if you have a decently powerful computer, you should be fine for the most part, if anything tho, I'm working to get this issue solved, just need to re-encode every engine in this mod sadly
We know that it uses 2JZ-GE not the VQ35DE engine as Black Box put for these cars.
Gotta love how the extreme 86 sounds pretty close to their N2 racer. Solid job!
Btw this sound is from NFS Pro Street.
i'll try this mod later

Best sound an Evo ever had was the last tier engine from nfs carbon change my mind

12:15 nfs carbon Alfa Romeo brera sound😍
That's cause they reused the skyline sound from underground 2
No dude you are wrong this is the NFS Pro Street stock Supra sound. And yes it is used also for the Skyline too there you are not wrong but this sound wasn't in NFS Carbon. The NFS Carbon R34/Brera sound is this at 14:36 but pitched down a bit.
What a good job with the sounds of the engines, although in my opinion, I would have loved that for the sound in the extreme tuning engine of the AE86 you would have used the sound of the Honda Civic also at the same or similar level (I mean they are regarding the sound of the engine), in the stock engine of the Supra I did not like the sound of the engine of the 350Z and the street engine was better, same excellent work and I hope you will make an update for the sounds of the V8 of the Mustang, GTO, and the slower but more powerful Navigator, Hummer H2 and Escalade
i don't know if i'll tackle SUV's yet but i did worked a bit on redoing the Civic, both the AE86 and the Civic are very screamy engines, that said tho, i did managed to put a sound engine for the civic that makes it very distinctive from the AE86, now about V8's i don't think i'll do much with the Mustang since it does sound proper to the Modular engine it bears irl, i did made changes to the GTO to have it's own engines, right now i'm compiling the sounds to make an update soon enough, need to work on a demo video for it as well ( if i actually make one), so be on the look out for that
10 years later.. still waiting for a remaster of this game.
There is on NFS mods and other mods that improve the game visually lol. If you don't have PC then get one lol.
@@HeroManNick132 I think there's a Definitive Edition and the Redux Edition. I have the Redux Edition which improves the game visually as well as putting some cut game modes. Don't know about the Definitive Edition though.
I recommend adding the STUTUTUTU on the Supra
i would if i could, a lot of cars here deserve stututu, but creating files for the turbo is nearly impossible
Ngl the original pro package civic shouldve been the extreme package, it sounds so brutal
it's still a work in progress, so these sounds may be subject to change as well, i'll keep your feedback in mind tho!
In my opinion. I change the Civic sound for the AE80.
Well, but ironically he used all the sounds for the AE86 that according to the sound files are recorded from AE86 like the stock sound is still from 240SX while the street is toy_ae86_a (NFS UG2), pro - toy_ae86_b (NFS UG2), extreme - toy_ae86_c (NFS Pro Street). While the Honda Civic's sounds comes from S2000 and I think he used the engine variant of the S2000 sounds like from NFS Carbon/Pro Street for pro and extreme upgrade. So he stuck to that.
I need to rebuy a PS2 and underground 1&2 i miss this so much
Better get the PC version to play with these sounds.
Ginsu is pretty amazing.
You can also take Heat's and Payback's Gins and use them.
that's what i'm doing, if i can't find any, i look around for a clean dyno run sound and make my own ginsu

@@Lucas-dq6lz There is a guy called Overrev who does this job for NFS Heat. You can find his mod on nfs mods.
But honestly I don't see much sense since most of them are accurate in NFS Heat while NFS UG2 sounds were like copy and paste and it need whole overhaul because most of them were super inaccurate.
I mean less sounds are copy and pasted in NFS UG2 than NFS UG1 but still by default every sound is shared with other cars either for stock or upgraded while the only very unique sounds were the Impreza sounds that they weren't used by other cars except the Impreza of course.

sound mod for Horizon 4 when? nah but seriously these sound miles better than what Turn 10 gave us
You know that there are so many cars in FH4 that need overhaul since there are 500+ cars and new cars are keep getting adding. This game has like 24 cars so it is a lot easier than fixing 500 cars.
I know this is mod and all, but man a lot of newer games hold back quite a bit in the sound department.
i guess it has to do with trying to synthesize the engine sound so it's easier to deal with the RPM in case they want to go higher or lower, what the devs in nfs most of the time do is just take the irl car, record it from idle to rev limiter and that's it, it works really well 'cause you can just plop that sound in the game, set the game to match the rpm of the recording and that's it, but if want to emulate an engine upgrade that has higher RPM, things get iffy, that's why i feel a lot of people shit so much on Forza Horizon 4 for example, at least that's what i think how it goes
The RB26DETT street version sounds like a vq and the turbo sounds I feel need a change
It is because the wrong ABK. Most of these sounds are ported from the NFS after NFS Carbon and they don't use ABK sounds and still Xanvier hasn't made the custom ABK tool that will fix the wrong ABK sounds.
Plus he don't know for now how to change the turbocharger sound but he tried though. It might be possible in the future it is just a matter of time.
And keep in mind this is not the final version there are lot of sounds to change.
15:05 I totally missed sounds amazingggggg this should have been used for the actual game instead of the regular 2/rb 14:40 sound that I don't like or the Ferrari v8 sound.
as controversial as it sounds, that's also the reason i'm not much of a fan of that 2F2F engine sound, i mean is cool and it has its charm, but everyone's like "omg brian's car" " can you make it sound like brian's car" and i'm like "Brian's car engine isn't that tuned, is a specific turbo, exhaust manifold and a blow off valve iirc, but the extreme package engine is freaking... fully kitted out, is gonna sound ANYTHING but Brian's car" so i'm glad you did actually noted it, i just left the 2f2f skyline on Pro so they don't miss out too much on the sound if they wanna stay there
@@paburrito Yes the sound of paul walkers skyline sounds nice in the movie or in real life but not in the game every time I hear it I literally think of a panda bear Idk why 😂😂. I also feel like EA got lazy at points like when the car definitely has a v6 motor but the pro engine sounds like the raspy civic sound like the tiburon. Another example is when the RX7, RX8, supra, is300, and the GTR suddenly transform into a Ferrari flat-plane v8 like how tf. 🤣
@@___rocaj probably time constraints to be honest, after all this was the first game where they started recording irl cars instead of doing synthetic sounds like they did in underground 1, finding all those cars and people who are willing to have their cars go through that process is still a bit of a chore, so i'm not holding much against the devs anyways, they did what they could and all in all, it still holds up rather well, and some cars needed a little fix that this mod hopefully does
@@paburrito I would think having your car in a game would be a privilege but I see what you mean. I can say you definitely fixed a lot of the concerns I had with it. Good Job, I never owned on PC I own on PS2 so I couldn't get full access like you. I do wish NFS u1 could undergo some changes like the rx7 sounds more like a 6 cylinder then a rotary. I will forever love the Skyline sound in U1 practical or not.
@@___rocaj Modding NFS UG1 sounds is even worse than modding NFS UG2's sounds. Not to mention the format is also different. NFS UG1 is using ABK format while NFS UG2 - GIN and ABK for the small things. Basically for now there is no software to help these sounds to be placed like Car Tuner Mod, NFSVLTED, Noesis or Frosty Editor.
Plus basically when you know only 5 car sounds there some cars share the same sounds and you have to create a node otherwise many cars that for example share the same sound will basically sound the same. And making proper ABK is a pain even worse than making GIN or TMX sound files for the NFS franchise.
civic si's in canada came with a d16y8, not a b16a2. it was very disappointing because the d series only made 127 hp

The civic "extreme" B16 sounds like heavy tuned 4AGE imho
You realise that both engines are high-revving I4 that have the same volume - 1.6L. So it is not surprise.

The extreme upgrade sound for the AE86 is called toy_ae86_c taken from NFS Pro Street while the extreme upgrade sound of the Civic I think it is taken from I think from the engine sound of hon_civic_a from NFS PS again.
Nfs U2 has the best sound effects than any nfs
Nah NFS Pro Street has better way to process the sounds and it has miles better turbo/supercharger sounds. Sams goes for NFS 2015/Heat.
I love Corolla's V8-ish turbo surge, where's the BOV from?
the game itself, i just ramped up the volume of the turbo a bit, after i'm done with the engines i'll balance the volume of the turbos to make them pop up a little more
The second car sounds looped and broken, sounds like its overreving and valvletapping, not a that bad just has this fault id say, the 3rd one sounds like a rotary I guess, good too.
Tbe 4th sounds like a rotary but more rotary, the 5th sounds like a softened V6 or something, the 6th sounds like a rotary V6?! The 7th sounds like a better V6 rotary, the xtreme sounds a two stroke, 3rd vehicle/s / the 8th sounds normal, the 9th sounds stronger, and the limiter sounds like my home AC unit, the 10th is a more V6 sound, the 11th is a xtreme v6, the stock 4age sound is amazing, but it has nitro sound, the second one is even cooler, i would LOVE to know how did the devs record the sound. At least any video showing it... The pro engine softens the tone after 8k but i guess thats normal, the xtreme is a straight pipe haha! Not bad! the stock honda is nice too, the street is from the game, the tuned is good and xtreme is kinda too much loud and kinda broken, not bad at all. The engine from the evo is different, sounds like its not strong or something, maybe thats just me, the pro is more a baffed rotary and the xtreme is more metalic, sounds cool! The supra and the lexus are the same as for the 350Z, i think it fits better only for the supra, maybe thats me, the 3rd is cool but its kinda fartcan and broken, not bad but it needs a fix I guess, the xtreme is better, and the rev limiter is cool. Is the skyline the original from the game? Sounds good stock and the street is good but it sounds looped, not bad. The pro is better, and sounds cool! The last one sounds nice too.
I guess thats all. Sorry for any errors in the grammar or words. Can you plz tell me how to extract the sound of the peugeot 206 or Vauxhall Corsa I think, I like that sound so much and i wanted to extract it to a playable format, but I guess the sound is modifyed by the game and the original is different, what do you think?? Thanks! Nice sounds.
As he said many times this is not the final. It has more work to do. Like the easiest part is finding proper sounds from other games. I see that many people complain how the redline doesn't match with the sound and there is a reason why - it is very hard unfortunatelly to make proper so called ABK sounds that are used to boost these GIN files. I don't know if porting other turbo sounds from different games is harder than making proper ABK sounds.
Other NFS after Carbon don't use ABK sounds and as you can see that's why there is not matching ABK sounds and pretty sure even the ABK sounds from NFS Carbon don't work in NFS UG2.
And which sound you want to be extracted the stock sound of Peogeot 206/Vauxhall Corsa 1.8? They use the Peogeot - maz_mia_a and the Corsa - for_foc_a/b which can be also found in NFS MW 2005 too. Or if you want the upgraded sounds which are chev_cav_a/b.
@@HeroManNick132 I wanted the stock sound because It's less aggressive I think, and I want it to be an mp3 file to maybe edit in a sound editor and then use it on another game (Home use only, no sharing, maybe if allowed) And the Old Corolla sound is nice too. Not to forgot the Focus and the Civic. NFSMW? Cool! Is a .gin sound file like a normal sound file but only decoded? I see that there are some Jetta and vr6 sounds too in the sound files.
I hear that the 206 and Miata have the same sound, and the Civic and Lancer have the same sound too. I love the sounds of the engines on this game, that's why I wanted to make the sounds a usable file like .mp3 or .FLAC, or .Ogg.
Thanks for the reply and info.
@@gabrielvieira6529 Well, the Corolla AE86 in the files by default as stock uses a sound from KA24DE (Nissan 240SX) and the same stock sound is used by the Nissan 240SX of course.
NFS UG2/MW 2005 as well Carbon and the NFS after NFS HP 2010 again are using GIN format while NFS UG2/MW 2005/Carbon are using ABK sounds too to "boost" the sound that contains sounds for static RPM range, idle, decceleration, acceleration.
In the NFS after NFS Carbon (besides from NFS UG1 - Carbon are using ABK sound) don't use ABK sounds and instead they use I think SWTN sounds that in NFS UG1-Carbon were used only for the gear shifts as well separate sound for the idle instead of being put in the ABK sounds.
And the VR6 Jetta sounds (the MK3/MK4) one is used by default by the Audi TT 3.2 Quattro and Hyundai Tiburon as stock and street upgrade while the pro upgrade is from VG30DETT (Nissan 300ZX) and the extreme upgrade is from Honda S2000 again (there are 5 Honda S2000 sounds but no Civic sounds). The first Civic recorded sound was in NFS Pro Street.
The weirdest thing is how Black Box made a mistake for the Audi A3 for 1.8/2.0 NA when in reality (even by the badge you can tell it is a 3.2 Quattro too like the Audi TT) and for some reason it uses the Golf sounds. It is uses the same engine as the 3.2 Quattro but no it will sound like a generic Golf.
I mean for 2004 game it is no suprise if 99% share the same sound but at least it is a step up from NFS UG1 that had even more copy and pasted sounds. All car sounds are shared with all cars like some are used for stock, some for different upgrades.
And the only unique sounds that are only used by 1 car are of course the WRX sounds.

Nissan Silvia S15 Need For Speed Underground 2
??? There is no Silvia S15 there...
i wish there is an engine swap mod
You know that basically the unmodded kinda had this thing but not really. You know that the Mazda RX-7/RX-8, Supra/IS300/Skyline had 3.6L V8 swap from Ferrari 360 even though it didn't mentioning that you are "swapping the engine" and the other cars that had exaggerating car sounds as upgrade.
I mean I do understand that you want like NFS Shift 2/Heat engine swaps. but I wonder if thing thing is possible without requiring to program the game.
So I was trying to follow this guy's tutorial and he never stated where to extract any of these files. Do I extract it to the Sound directory? I really am not sure but don't want to mess anything up.
both mods ( car sound tuner and my sound pack) have folders with respective names, of where you have to place said files, on the car sound tuner you gotta unpack them on the folder where you installed nfsu2, same deal with my soundpack afterwards, you just gotta unpack the files in the folders where the name matches
why don't we get the sexy g35/350z sound in forza?
can I ask, why the 4 Skyline files makes my game crash? and I tried mutiple times to what makes the game crash, and some how the game hate the file, the setup of my Skyline is on Extreme (Stage 3 all upgrades) I dont know why, but please help.
for addon, the other car sounds are now SICK!!👌
has to do with how the game handles the bitrate of the engine sounds, the issue is that i didn't noted that up until recently, which was troublesome since a lot of the engine sounds i've modded into the game, their bitrate is too high for the game to handle, hence why they end up in an eternal loading screen crash, if you want to keep playing, you'll have to go back to PRO which uses the vanilla 2f2f skyline sound and you should be fine, while i work on fixing the rest of ... pretty much every car sound i've modded into the game so far
Not to be rude, but you could have done better.
- For the stock Supra/IS300 you should have get rid of 350Z sound and use bmw_m3_g or simply the FH4 Supra's sound which is the closest to bone stock 2JZ. And for pro upgrade you could have used the NFS 2015's Supra sound.
- For the 350Z for pro upgrade you could used the NFS Payback/Heat's 350Z sound instead of extreme. For extreme the unused nis_350z_c from NFS Carbon sounds better.
- For the Infiniti G35 the Infiniti G35 sounds from NFS MW 2005 and the nis_350z_a from NFS Carbon will fit better even though it uses the same engine as 350z.
- For stock you should have used NFS 2015/Heat's Civic SI sound or the NFS Pro Street one.
- And the NFS 2015/Heat's R34 sound sounds closer to stock RB26DETT: czcams.com/video/Jgx7Aq3X3mU/video.html than the R32 sound.
- For the Toyota Corolla the toy_ae86_c from NFS Pro Street sounds insane you could used that for extreme upgrade.
Also, you've changed all the sounds or just some of them "mainly" the JDM cars?
And btw with 1 friend we did a NFS MW 2005 sound overhaul (it might get updated since it is not 100% done) but the link is here if you want to try it: nfsmods.xyz/mod/2200.
Also, he changed some NFS UG2 sounds too but not released as mod still. If you want to check them here is the playlist: czcams.com/video/7L23Xeq-Mt0/video.html
this is still a work in progress, but just to answer to these points
-yeah i will change the stock 2jz sound, either indeed use the FH4 supra or move the street to stock and look for a new sound file, i don't really have nfs 2015 to get the sound file so i'll have to see if there's a library where i can get said engine sounds, shouldn't be that difficult tho
-i'll keep it in mind, will have to somewhat get carbon to get the engine sound files but it shouldn't be that horrible to do
-i'll test around with these
- i do have the pro street one, but the .gin file is actually way too large for the game to process unfortunately, i spent like a week trying to make it work but it didn't worked, i do have heat so i'll try and see the engine sounds it has there
- i'll give it a go as well, i think i used the R34 from payback at some point but removed it afterwards
- i am actually using the 4age from pro street, just lowered the rpm to match the rpms in the game since 9k rev limiter is distinctively different than 11k rpm, a bit of a sacrifice i had to take for the game but i'm starting to consider on ignore that on the next update if i have the time to keep working on it
mostly was an effort to remove the Ferrari 360 Modena they overused on several cars, same as the ones who overused the Honda S2000 engine too, i just kinda get swept away with that kind of stuff, but i do plan on seeing if i can add more cars into the list, V8's are also overused but i'll have to see what i can do
and i do know about them, actually i'm in contact with them since i helped him generate some gin files they're currently using on some other mods for most wanted if he does, but thank you so much for the feedback, i'm writing these down so i can work more on them c:
@@paburrito V8s are pain in the ass to fix. Even me and Toshiya don't have ideas for them as well the Golf it has some weird sounding one files like vw_gti_a (is this even recorded from MK4/MK5 Golf? To me it sounds like it is recorded from MK1 Golf, vw_gti_b is a weird one that is actually 1:1 with NFS 2015/Heat's M3 E30 sound).
We kinda fixed the GTO sound but still it is eh. Not mentioning it is the LS1 version not LS2 version like in NFS MW/Carbon. V8 muscles are always have been pain to fix since the lack of V8 sounds and most of them aren't that fitting.
But I agree that so many sounds are copy and pasted because Black Box didn't record many sounds and most of them were from random cars that wouldn't have appeared either way in any NFS like Mazda Protege (Familia), Chevrolet Cavalier, Honda Prelude, Porsche Cayenne, Ford Bronco, Volkswagen Jetta MK3/4 (even though still the 3.2 Quattro and TT sound almost like them), Ferrari 360, Nissan 300ZX, Volkswagen Scirocco MK2, Hummer H1. They had time to record these cars but not for the basic cars that are in the game? Well, at least compared to NFS UG1 it is a 2 steps ahead of NFS UG1's sounds (personally I hate them only if the abk files from NFS UG2/MW worked there...)
I mean if you want to discuss the NFS UG2 sounds I have a private server for me, Toshiya and 1 another friend. If you want to join: discord.gg/EvzXSwAV. It is in Bulgarian mostly since my friends and me are from Bulgaria but at least we can speak English so no worries.
@@HeroManNick132 just came to the realization that the Extreme engine of the 350z / G35 IS using the nis_350z_c from Carbon, i worked out a new batch for the 2jz and slowly will work on the other cars as well, made some discoveries as well so i hope to implement them some day soon
@@paburrito Oh yeah right you used it. The one from NFS Payback/Heat sounds similar but less agressive. And another friend recently extracted some NFS HP 2010 sounds and if you want you can try the 370Z GIN which kinda sound mix between nis_350z_a and nis_350z_c from NFS Carbon: www.mediafire.com/file/xrkixujwszessz6/Hot+Pursuit+car+sound+dump.rar/file
@@HeroManNick132 i actually do have those engine sounds already, but yeah i think how the game has it for the most part is okie by me, after all the extreme engine sound could use more rpm and it does show now at least for the 350z/ G35, so i think that car's done for now, thank you for the rar btw, i'll see if i can give it some use down the line
bro i dont know i have tried so many mods but i always get this annoying glitch when it shifts gears, it keeps cutting out the noise of the game for like a second or two everytime it switches gears, i dont know how to fix this, someone help
Wth I don't even remember the RX-8 Being on UG 2
Probably because you got confused with NFS UG1. Mazda RX-8 came in NFS UG2 for the first time.
It works can you add more sounds to the other cars like make a rally car sound for the 206 v8 sound for the gto and make a cool v6 sound for the miata?i want more sounds just my opinion do whatever you want
like i said, it's a work in progress and i'm taking feedback but i'm just taking my sweet time with it since life gets in the way one too many times unfortunately, thanks for the ideas tho and the GTO is already a v8
@@paburrito ok I am noob
@@paburrito I meant a better v8 sound but it's ok take your time
@@AV20242 i think i can do something about that, originally i wanted to make this mod to remove the use the Ferrari 360 engine they used in several extreme engine packages, but i found myself with a library of sounds problem itself is the encoding and all that, it's a hassle in on itself, but i'll see what i can do about it
@@paburrito the thing is I would love if you basically give new and better car sounds for basically every car in the game including suvs but that seems like a lot of work but it's your choice do whatever you want i will be fine with it
I dont remember the stock AE86 engine having turbo sounds and a turbo cluster
Cause in this game you can put an extreme turbo and all the other extreme upgrades and keep the engine stock
Hey man, i've tried to decompress de file but it appears a message tha say "the file is damaged or have an unidentified format" and dont let me extract anything, do you know whats going on?
nope, i've downloaded the file from the site several times and it worked out fine each time, is strange 'cause is just a .rar file, i'll try and put them, in zip files next time i think
@@paburrito ok, im gonna wait, because your mod is de most complete that i've seen on internet, good job!! And i hope to have it soon!
Why some stock cars come turbocharged? Like the fairlady z and ae86
cause i had all the other extreme packages installed, i'm just showcasing engines since they're the ones that change the tone of the car, not other upgrades
Which .ini file is that supra extreme pack in your mod?
the 49 one
Thanks its working now
@@bamboobelly4052 happy to hear that
