Man I wish I had this last year in hegesville WV,we go 43in in 24 he period and it took me all day with a 24 in walk behind snow blower after I plowed with the 4 wheeler the 1st 6 hrs of the storm until it became to much for the plow ..im sold ! I'm getting one of these blowers for my tractor for sure
Pleaset include something helpful for first-timers … like showing the steps (buttons to push and/or levers to set) to actually start the impeller rotating.
you said blowing into the wind, may you make a cab, there is a fellow i watched make his own and a heater in it from the rad water, etc, good show, i got nothing my postal code is k0k1h0
Hairless Hippy your handy, 2x2s hinges plactic nuts and bolts, next winter will be more, i did not get much here, snow blowed 6 times, maybe 4 gallons of gas, how much gas do you do this winter, have a good one
It does appear to have two Black adjustable shoes or pads inside on the left and right that would be the height adjustment your thinking of . Silly that anyone Owning one could not tell you this .
For that kind of money it should do a good job, as the snow was blowing in your face was you wishing you had gotten a cab on it? But yes it does a great job, have fun.
Isla Boyd I caught some rocks in there but there is a bottom steel riser so it doesn't ride directly on the ground. I am sure you can raise them even more if you have gravel so it doesn't get picked up. Thanks for commenting.
+Isla Boyd you can use it on gravel, you just need to adjust the skid shoes on the snow thrower raise it so the scraper bar is like 1/4" off the ground
cut a slit in a piece of 3/4" pvc pipe that is as long as the blower is wide, so you can slip it over the scraper bar on the blower. It will allow the blower to "float" over the gravel w/out digging in. A table saw is the easiest way to do it.
sweet tractor the blower works very good also stay warm dude !

excellent video, your intro is not annoying like a lot of other videos people make that have intro videos to their main video.
Now that is one serious big boys toy right there mate, damn i want to come play now lol.
Check out impeller kits to get more distance on throwing snow and not clogging chutes in the wet stuff. Great video.
Pretty impressive. I'd hate to live in a place where I had to drive in stakes just to find my driveway in the winter.
Nice. I have a 54 inch rear mount blower. A bit more robust and about half the price but you pay for it with neck strain! LOL!
My buddy has a Kubota 26hp diesel same setup. Easy as hell to use. I have a 60hp Massey with front bucket and rear blower and I have more fun with his
now that is a machine, and you did good by doing others get ready for 2015-16 storms, i think it will be more, good show
nema nista bez bagera
Dont need chains on the tires for blowing snow?
Thumbs up!

Have you ever considered a cab for that setup. I have something similar and put on an original brand cab and it was worth every penny.
also do you remember about how much the snow blower attachment was alone?
is there a big difference between the JD1025 and the JD748? they look about the same to me... is the larger number a bigger machine?
Nice. 4 wheel drive?
yes 4x4

they make a cab for it.. its like 5000 dollars.. for the amount that we really use it in the snow, its probably not worth it. Thanks for commenting..

Can you leave the blower raised like two inches if you were on gravel or maybe making a path across the yard or something?? or is down, DOWN...?
THe snow thrower replaces the loder bucket and can be raised or lowered wherever you want it.

what is the max depth of snow that it can handle? we got 35" last week and it took 9 hours to clear it using the bucket and rear blade.
Where did you get that snow thrower? I am looking for one.
How did it do with the turf tires and no chains or ballast in deep snow?
+madogblue Turfs are better in the snow/ice than Aggrs or Industrials.
never got stuck.. loads of power.
How much is the snowblower for the 1025r??? Thank you.

Can you use this on gravel road or driveways

Hairless Hippy short of my question but can you use the hydraulics to raise it higher if you want?
