This needs to be a setting that stays on all the time. I don't want to tap an icon on the DAP to start casting. I want it to always be available in my phone but it's not. That's not the point of remote control when you have to interact with the physical device first 😡 I paid full price for the R7 and I'm not happy with the bugs and broken functionality like Bluetooth receiver. I even bought the FiiO Bluetooth remote and it lags a Lot. The air mouse is unusable most of the time. This product needs to be receiving a firmware update fixing A Lot of issues before I can recommend it. Right now it's definitely not recommended due to many issues that make it frustrating to use it.
@@FiiOOfficial I hope, because even though M23 is first worthy successor after LTD I own it, and I would'nt want to change it simply for the app, even when I am your reseller in Poland
Why bring out a feature if it’s not going to connect, hence unusable. You might want to actually test your APP (features) before releasing them, just a thought 😂
@@FiiOOfficial I think you missed the point. It doesn’t work. I tested it multiple times through your Fiio Control APP and it doesn’t connect. Hence what I said above. ☝️
@@FiiOOfficial FiiO only updates the app to fix issues with BT11 and BR13 but totally forgot about R7. I only gave 1 star on Amazon and reported all unsolved issues: Bluetooth delay, the disaster with remote connection, still android 10 etc
FiiO please stop playing games. I contacted your media email requesting a review sample, you didn't provide one. I bought one full price as I really wanted to see how it performs. The R7 has unforgivable bugs and you need to fix them with a firmware update soon, and one of the issues is having to tap FiiO Cast every time on the R7 and tap "start" before my phone can control the casting. This is unacceptable for a remote control system.. and furthermore you should not be asking for Android Drawover (show over other apps) permission as many malware can use Drawover to trick the user into entering sensitive data into fake banking apps.
I wish Fiio would make a budget priced DAP. Until then, it's Hiby for me.

hi, maybe you don't need this feature? Many other users required this feature so we added for M23.

Fiio cast is the worst remote access app ever made, keep disconnecting is just trash! I wish they would do something like WiiM app did.
