Bought a 1999 M3 automatic convertible in 2018, for 2 grand. It was neglected with 163K on original engine and trans. Restored it to showroom condition 2-years later.
A guy who worked for BMW for 20-years told me at a stoplight that it was the most beautiful E36 M3 he had ever seen. Best handling car I ever owned. Estoril on Dove Gray. Copped the hardtop and the LTWs.
