“FADI KOD”, also known as “KOD” or dubbed by many as the “KING OF DRUMS”, is a Canadian of Lebanese origins, live performer recognized as a percussionist/singer/Writer. He sings in English, French, Arabic and Spanish. He is the founder/owner of King Of Drums [music group], operating in the music industry since 2010 specialized in artist bookings and management, based in Montreal Canada and Beirut Lebanon.
At a tender age of 2 years old, his parents discover his passion for rhythm and beats. All started when he was gifted his first ''derbakeh'' an Arabic hand drum. Very young, his success story began, winning every talent show and always standing out in all concerts he participated.
In the late 90’s, he introduced a new genre of music by blending the sound of his drums to electronic/techno music and left his mark throughout the Montreal club scene during the 2000’s. The concept of electronic club percussionist was born.
After years of live performances, his reputation and talent brought him to different corners of the globe by building a solid relation with everyone, breaking all boundaries and by always giving a generous performance. This personal connection with crowds all around the world, has won the peoples heart that granted him the name of “KING OF DRUMS”.
Always working on new musical productions, driven by his commitment to constantly deliver fresh new sound, has brought him to introduce his singing in his live acts. In summer 2013, a soft release of ''U SHOULD LET ME'' and ''FEEL YOUR LOVE'' , has inspired him to produce more of his original songs and collaborating with different producers and writers. Aiming on leaving a reputable name in the music industry, he has now created a full concert for himself, enhanced by the collaboration of other performers live with him on stage.
