Kapalua Bay Snorkeling - Maui Hawaii

One of my favorite snorkeling spots on Maui. It's easily accessible shore snorkeling with a calm sandy beach. It's great for kids and beginner snorkelers. There is so much to see and explore.

I think it isn't widely appreciated that to be able to swim over living coral in 2022 is priceless. with the inexorable warming of the ocean, we are probably the last generations to be able to do this for centuries.

Awesome footage. Can you snorkel really close to the shore and still see a lot of fish and turtles? I want to try and go snorkeling for the first time in Maui in a few weeks.

What GoPro did you use and what settings for underwater shooting? Just curious. Linear? Wide? What resolution and frame rate? Thanks in advance.
