For her favorite sports event, the Princess of Wales wore a custom version of Safiyaa Cecilia's purple midi dress. Europe's largest diamond jeweler, Tobias Kormind, noted that the dress paid tribute to Wimbledon with its color, emphasizing its significance.
"Kate’s stunning and distinctive new Wimbledon statement look comprised a purple dress (paying tribute to the Wimbledon colors), which was a first for the princess," Kormind told GB News. She paired the dress with large, statement yellow gold earrings, contrasting with the more dainty jewels she has worn at Wimbledon in the past.
Kormind also highlighted that Kate's purple and gold look in 2024, along with her green and gold look in 2023, both worn to the men's final, pay tribute to her position as president of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
