As someone who already listened to it, is each story truly disconnected or there IS an overarching plot slowly moving behind the stories?

@drwer_on_tube9135 It really is largely disconnected. It's all centering around the The Program, but radically different perspectives, timeframes, views, etc. You'll start to hear consistent elements and beats, and I cannot say for sure that listening to it out of order would have the same effect, but it's been my experience that doing so would have no negative impact whatsoever.

I always told myself that unless one very specific condition occurred, I would never, Ever go to war. I would rather sit in prison for a decade than be conscripted. Unless. Unless it was to stop an abomination.
Now an abomination is happening in the world and I don't even have the Option to go to war.

No idea what this is going to be, I subscribed for TMA/Protocol like a lot of people, but I'm in! This is basically The Circle if it was good. Gig economy on steroids.

This caught me by such a surprise... I have so many questions, but most of all, it struck me how Victor seems to be much older than his voice would suggest? This, coupled with the ominuous-sounding "alternative" Angelica (who sounds to have aged like an usual human would) mentioned really makes me wonder what happened to him. Did he volunteer to prolong his life? Was it possible because he is a "hero" of the system? Or maybe he was kept young as an ever-lasting symbol, to appear on the live shows and continue the legend of the Program's beginnings? After all, the hosts seem very confused by the state of world as it was before the Program, so maybe he was kept alive as a form of a propaganda?
Gosh, I have so many questions, but I'm really excited to listen to the rest of the episodes!

Man it feels weird that I kind of want this world to be real, even if its gig based. It might just be that gig economy in our world is %100 exploitive, but if it somehow led to a world without rent, and only doing jobs I enjoy/suited me the best, I think I'd be ok with it.

I've been waiting searching to find a story built around an AI making a massive Positive impact to the world. Humans are too greedy, if there was a fair and balance AI at the top, a socialist fair and balanced world might be possible.
But how would such a thing even begin?? Without it being the center of conversation, this first episode does an excellent job of explaining how The Program first became introduced to the world. I can't wait to learn more.
