I’m glad you mentioned how setting spray affects mascara. I was always told to apply my setting spray prior to mascara and that is what I will keep doing. This mascara looks beautiful on you!

You naturally have really beautiful long eyelashes and the amount of curl you got with this mascara is what I’m really excited about. I’ve only found a few mascaras that really really give a nice curl!
So do you think that this a waterproof mascara? Also, great idea on covering your eyes when using setting spray! I’m going to start doing that. It makes complete sense. ☺️❤️

Ok, so after seeing several Beauty YT’s doing demo’s and wear tests on this mascara, that it wasn’t till I opened YOUR video & I went ahead to Sephora’s website and IMMEDIATELY ordered it 😮🤣👏!! And if I may say , that you’ve got to be one of , if not , the most trusted beauty influencers on YT to date 🙏👍👌🥰! Yes. I either put setting spray on before mascara or if I've put mascara on prior to spraying I always cover my eyes!

Ok...I am definitely trying this..I don't think I have super long eyelashes like you, however, I do have the problem with getting it on my upper eyelid ..and definitely on my lower lashes...the price is great too..not too expensive at all... I am always amazed at your skills and the way you apply products. Thanks !

Lancome Idole worked well for me & I'm currently trying Sweed Cloud Mascara! Definitely gonna have to try this one if it comes to the UK as I can't stand clumpy eyelashes!!

I apply setting spray after all makeup EXCEPT mascara, then apply mascara after the spray. Seems to help! (I use tubing mascaras…only ones that don't smudge on me!) ☺️

Good tip about the setting sprays on mascara! I would have never thought of that but now that you mention it, I have noticed flaking whereas before I started using setting spray in the past, never had the flaking. Hm.

I always put on my setting spray, and then put on mascara! I have very long lashes as well, that almost hit my eyebrows, without mascara. I’m always looking for one to help with volume. I feel like the longer the lashes, the more they weigh down the lashes. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s what it feels like to me. I’ll have to try this one! Thank you!
I'm definitely going to try this! I have oily eyelids so mascara often smudges and flakes on me. The only ones that don't are: Thrive, Mabelline Sky High, Hourglass Tubing, Mac Stack, and Huda Beauty Legit Lashes. Lancome Mr. Big Waterproof is great as are other waterproof mascaras but they've drying on my lashes and difficult to remove.
Yes! I have only tried Maybelline, hourglass, huda and Lancome and you are right, they are all smudge proof! I would also add it cosmetics superhero. My favorite of them all.

ALI!!! I have long beautiful lashes like you. And I'm so picky, and careful what I use on mine. I have been using the Maybelline sky high forst with the maybelline lash sensational over that,for a long time since I watched you use together. I will have to get this and try!!

I have long lashes and have the same frustrations. Brand new mascara grabs on to everything, makes my long lashes twist and stick together. Gah. Looking forward to trying this one!

^^ I tend to be more worried about “oil proofing” than waterproofing with mascaras

Have you tried Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion? I wear it every day even when I don't use shadow because it controls my oily lids so well!
I have hooded, sensitive & super oily eyelids that frustrated me to the point I just didn't want to wear mascara at all, until I found the Caliray tubing clean mascara. No more smudging nightmare, I can even wear it on my lower lashes now. It does flake a tiny bit when my eyes are watery but to me, flaking is much more forgivable than smudging. If you try the Tower28 mascara, can you let me know if it's smudg-proof on oily lids? I'm so curious as I've been a fan of tower28 but also, hesitate when it comes to mascara because most of them (clean mascaras) don't work for my oily lids. Thank you! 😍

I have short sparse lashes and am so jealous of your long lashes!
I tried so hard to like/love this mascara based on this recommendation and sadly, it turned out to be a disappointment. It clumped, it flaked, it smudged, and it was not waterproof. It also did not keep my lashes curled. I did like the curvature of the wand and gave it the fair wear test.
On the plus side, it was real easy to remove and I didn't lose any lashes.
I'll keep looking for that holy grail go to mascara. Don't feel bad, it's just one of those things and lesson learned. You are still my absolute favorite creator and I watch your videos every week and I love you lots an lots! xo

Well based on your recommendation I bought this mascara at Sephora and tried it…. I thought it was very dry and didn’t do much for me. I ended up returning it and purchased my all time favorite mascara so far which a and girl bang by Benefit. I love your videos though and appreciate all your content and reviews.

I love how it looks on you but my lashes are very sparse and short so I wonder how it would look on someone like me. I totally take your smudge and flake opinions to heart.
I apply my setting spray by spraying a powder brush or a beauty spray and apply it that way.
I'd love to try the mascara! I have issues with smudging and flaking mascara because my eyelids are oilier and my bottom lashes are decently long. What did you use to remove it? Was it an oil or a balm or a more gentle cleanser?

A more accurate wear test would be spending some time outdoors and how the mascara holds up in humidity.

@@user-ql3el3bq2v Obviously she did wear tests. I said a "more accurate wear test" would be wearing it outdoors. Putting it on at 5pm and wearing it around the house isn't the most thorough test.
Please try *Catrice All around Waterproof mascara.* It works on my short straight downwards growing lashes

Hoping I can use this mascara to replace the innisfree microara, which I LOVE since it doesn’t smudge.
I'm intrigued by this mascara, but I've heard so many people talk about how their Tower 28 products go bad so quickly...so I'm going to wait and see how long people get use out of a tube. I'm not dropping even $20 on something I'm going to be forced to throw out before it's gone...
I've been wanting to try their lip jelly gloss things too, but people have talked about how theirs started to smell after a couple of months. I'm typically a drugstore makeup gal so even Tower 28's prices, which are low for Sephora standards, are more than I like to spend.
