- This is the Best Match in Yuki Ishikawa's Club Career !!! Yuki Ishikawa dominated against Piacenza in Italian Volleyball League playoff. He made 20 points in 5th set dramatic match!
Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.
Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan.[1] Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.[2]
Ishikawa was named "Best outside spiker" award at the FIVB World Cup (2015, 2019), FIVB Nations League (2023), Asian Championship (2017, 2019, 2021), as well as "Most valuable player" award at the Asian Championship (2017, 2023).
As of April 2021, Ishikawa is the captain of the Japan men's national volleyball team, and plays as an outside hitter. He currently plays in the Italian Volleyball League for Allianz Milano.

Before the fifth set... both teams ended up with the same number of points!! I had never seen a match where both teams were so closely matched. Milano would take the lead, Piacenza would catch up and turn it around... then they battled it out in the final points and so on. This match was not good for my heart, but honestly, even when we were down 2 sets or 17-19 in the third set, I never thought we were going to lose haha I always had faith because it was clear that the powerboys were giving their all on the court, even Ishikawa and Loser played injured and in pain at that level and with that desire, inspiring. Catania has improved exponentially, covering brilliantly. Reggers too, my god, finally he's not missing all his serves, he made 6 blocks!! Great opposite.
