Wasn’t there some intro bit with channel surfing and a Showtime feature presentation? Did that get removed for copyright claim?

You are correct, there was an opening channel surfing segment originally. I checked the analytics though and saw that the intro was causing a 50% retention drop off. So I'm experimenting to see if cutting straight to the music (where there was a viewer spike) improves overall watchability for new people that land on it. Will add it back if nothing changes-and lemme know if you guys would just prefer to leave it in either way.

I totally understand the need to maximize views and it’s your channel and totally up to how you want to do your content.
I enjoyed the opener and thought it added to the overall atmosphere of the music.
