The broken crosshair is because the health/ammo indicator, known as the "quickinfo", isn't really there at all. What you're seeing is the portal gun quickinfo with a fallback texture.

For the future: could you please turn the volume of your voice up slightly? It may just be me, but I think that in this vid the voice / background stuff volume ratio was slightly off-balance.

@@SlippiSRC I personally think the gap between portal 1 and 2 isn't THAT long, the "99999999" bit could've just been that, a bit, a glitch in the system, so it could actually just be a couple years, maybe a few decades. If we assume Portal 1 happens shortly after the Portal Storms and the Seven Hour War, and we assume that it's only been even a couple decades between Portal 1 and 2, it's reasonable to theorize at some point the idea of Chell joining the resistance for Half Life 3 was at least floated at Valve. Might be a reach, but Half Life 3 will never ever come out so who cares ig.

Great video! Some feedback though is that your voiceover isn't very good, I couldn't understand what you were saying sometimes due to the abrupt cutting and a bit of slurring in your speech. Just something to work on for next time, otherwise keep the good content coming!
Yeah I’m trying to improve the voice volume when I edit the next video related to a valve game (which will probably be Left 4 Dead). Because I’ve gotten a lot of people in this comment section saying that. As for the slurring and stuttering that will get probably get better over time because this video was one of the first times I’ve read off a script in my life.

Perhaps the file deleted sound effect could've been used during the GLaDOS boss fight as you destroy cores, GLaDOS' files get corrupted

I liked it but I can see why it was changed. Feels to much of a pace change from the more relaxed puzzler experience in the final build.

The crosshair being broken like that is actually present in many versions of Half-Life 2 before the 2007 engine update.
