They could use Sunshot though it would require a kill for the scorch. I'm sad that they took the tracking shot away Skyburn , however, the scorch on tap looks great for this.

Solar(harmonic) siphon mod in the helmet should help a lot with orb generation. if i remember correctly, when you shoot the mob with skyburners oath, the scorch counts as "weapon dmg", if you add more scorch with your abilitys it still counts as weapon-dmg-scorch because thats what started it. So scorch kills can trigger siphon mods afaik. then again the ignitions come from the weighted knife effect so im not sure how that works.
This build is super fun! Struggling a bit in the pale heart lost sector, but I see the potential here with the massive ignitions. When it works it works. What content would you suggest bringing this build into?
Its a realy interesting build. And the only viable solar hunter i can think of right now. They should buff calbians hand to be visble in endgame. But im trying this build for sure the ignition spam looks realy fun
@ 4:48 I wish bungie would change this because it literally only affects hunters / throwing knife. Also sixth coyote rework with lightfall I loved the idea, but implementation was off - the stacks counter is way too short to be viable or compete with other builds unfortunately
@@pepeboi4047 You just use the exact build he is using but instead of the exotic chest plate that gives 2 knife charges you use radiant dance machines. Radiant dance machines gives you unlimited dodges ( = unlimited knives) for 5 seconds if you dodge near enemies. When you kill any enemy you will gain 5 more seconds of unlimited dodges (the timer caps at 10 seconds). So it’s basically just way more knife spam with the only downside that your first dodge has to be near enemies for the exotic to activate (so for some situations his build is still better). Note: when the timer hits 0 seconds you will lose your class ability and will have to first get it back, but that should be easy because of the fragment that gives faster cooldown for it when scorching targets. Anymore questions, just ask.
Do certain mods or artifact perks disable the “chain reaction” because I haven’t been able to get it to proc once, like anywhere. I’m on solar hunter with the same exotic Ophidia and same fragments 🤷🏻♂️

Very well put together build! Skyburners is sadly a must if you want to get the fastest and easiest way to get ignitions going, makes it worth it.
Tommys or prometheus works too but skyburners is best
Or a solar sniper with the new artifact mods!

I tried this build and did a first interaction run in ghost of the deep. I fall behind :/.
Now just use radiant dance machines and the build becomes even more potent

Enemies surrounding the ignition need enough health to reach the amount of scorch needed to ignite

Yeah for sure. This just allows you to apply it on any target on command
Why not just use the radiant artifact mod and use a different fragment??
You can do that if you’d like, but it’s more consistent and easier to get radiant from the throwing knife in my opinion
