Abstract:
Professor Schilli comments that each note is different, so the embouchure has to be adapted, it has to be very flexible. The sixteenth notes sound like a study, they are also part of the movement, they do not have to be so fast and they must be played with the same color and “love” as the long notes. When the sound breaks it is because the embouchure has too much pressure and the reed is too low. The dynamics need to be further differentiated. The student must relax her jaw more depending on the dynamics. Each tonality has a special color.
