    So I've been laundering my high thread count very expensive sheets right all along. Except I have one of those hg washing machines it has no agitator but does have a dispenser for the soap bleach and fabric softener. I normally split up my sheet sets when washing and drying them and 3 seasons out of the year I hang them out on my clothesline to dry them.

    Great info from you, thank you. I have a question, I have a 14mth old Electrolux washer Model EFLS627UTT, I hadnt used it much as away from home until it was 10.5mths old. It is still NOT rinsing properly. Bubbles left in the machine. I was using LESS than 1 x TBS of HE liquid. I had the Electrolux technician out TWICE before it was 12mths old and he said I was to clean it, with the washer cleaner on clean cycle( I did this with the cleaner product and again with vinegar and bake soda) . I did this 4 times and ran the machine empty of anything (no detergent) and still the problem remained, bubbles in the machine even with NO detergent > I took video and pictures but when he came back he couldnt do anything. The technician said only use HE powders not liquids or pods as I disputed why can't I use HE liquid when the machine shows the HE symbol on the front of the machine, he said powders leave less scum and not to use liquids, but they are very expensive now and powders only seem to be sold in large boxes. I only use my machine once a week. I really despair, I bought a good quality, not cheap washer and hate the bubbles left in my washing plus I hardly use any detergent and feel are my clothes actually getting clean. I also hate these water saving machines, but mine seems like it is 1/3rd full of water. What can I do???? Appreciate your thoughts?

      @Verolinens Před 3 lety +1

      Carol, we just aren't sure how to advise you on this. We don't know a lot about wash machines. We recommend trying to move up the ladder of authority at Electrolux for more assistance. Often times getting ahold of their PR department can get you results or a connection to someone that can assist.

    • @Verolinens

      When you fully dry them, they are more prone to wrinkles. It is not a problem, when they are slightly damp you can hand press most of the wrinkles out of them. Be sure to checkout our 150+ bedding tips here www.verolinens.com/how-to-luxury-bed-sheets-linens-tips/

    Do I use the baking soda with a bit of detergent and some white vinegar for the rinse cycle?

    • @Verolinens
      @Verolinens Před 3 lety +1

      As far as the amount, use 1/4 cup +/- . It is not necessary with every wash, but it won't hurt anything. Yes use white vinegar in the rinse. As far as where to put these, I would just put them in the wash machine tub or basin.

    • @Verolinens

      Tennis balls will work. We're not sure on the anti static. Drying out doors is fine as long as it is not direct hot sun light. The down does need to be "fluffed up", otherwise it will be flat. Hello, I have 8kg front loader. When I wash my fitted jersey sheets, they always get tangled into 1 big ball. Would you please advise how to load or how much to fill the drum, to prevent it from happening? Some of fitted sheets are white, so I wash them separately. My duvet covers are colorful. When I wash only 2 single whit sheets, they were so little that the washing machine becomes imbalance. But when I wash colorful sheets together with duvet covers till 70% capacity of the drum (as advised by the manual), they are tangled and the washing machine also imbalace. Please advise, thank you

    • @Verolinens

      Vinegar is a nice (natural) cleaner. Put it in your wash and it helps keep your linens brighter and strips any left over detergent residue out of your sheets that may have not rinsed out of the last wash.
