Great day despite the issues. I've used strategically placed crankbait casts in place of a broken trolling motor before haha.
I went fishing for the first time since I was 15. It was my first time doing everything on my own (my dad would set up my pole for me and didn’t teach me how to cast till I was 15) even though he took me fishing since I was like 3. My line kept tangling and I lost three of my lures from bad snagging. Just when I thought “pack up and call it a day” I was so frustrated and overwhelmed but on my way back a thought popped in my head I know it’s sounds cheesy and maybe a little creepy i remembered all the videos of yours and how you still had mishaps even with your skill and still stayed positive. I just told myself #KFNS and I ran my line threw my rod tied up my last spinner and kept at it I slowly got better at casting and even figured out how to prevent the tangles and how to fix it! Thank you Jon B I’ll #kfns is my new motto.

Countdown Rapala is excellent for winter largemouths. It sinks at one foot per second and has great action.
john. i am a fishing guide in charleston sc. i have a minn kota ulterra rip tide. i had the exact same thing happen to me out on the water. the capacitors have a tendency to go out on the circuit board. apparently this happens alot. take it to any dealership and they will replace the whole board under warrenty.

Did ya check the breaker on the power line that connects to your battery. This happened to me the first time out in my boat and that’s all it was flipped switch and all power. . Nice fish man

My guess is a fuse or circuit breaker on the positive wire (red) near the battery. Breaker is a tiny box, would have a button on it to reset it.
