Gud morning aunty, I have tried this murukku already. I have few doubts on this..
Murukku batter breaks in-between . I have used store bought rice powder ( mentioned roasted rice powder).. I drinks more oil while frying. What could be the reason.. Normal rice flour or roasted rice flour?? I want to try for 2nd time. It will be grateful if u clarify the doubts..
Hi Saranya..as far as I know...murukku batter would break in between, only if the murukku dough is not prepared well i.e. murukku mavai nandraga serthu pesaiyanum. And if the murukku dough is little watery...then murukku will absorb more oil. And you can use store brought raw rice flour (as what maami is using) because they are already roasted. hope you are clear. Enjoy making murukku.
