Simulation center helps close the gap between classroom learning and patient care

Gunshot wound. Spinal cord injury. Renal failure. It may sound like a typical episode of ER, but simulations of these and other serious medical situations are providing valuable training for future medical professionals at the Goodman Simulation Center at Stanford.

Escape rooms but it's save-the-patient rooms. Actually I was sort of kidding but wouldn't this be an interesting attraction at a museum? Some pre-recorded voice gives you directions and you race to save the patient; maybe it would inspire some kid who realizes they work well under pressure, or lets people see how fast you need to act in an ER. Or is that just weird? I feel like that's weird...but also awesome.
