    I have 9-10 of Adams knives and throughly thrilled. The last one I am waiting on is a sloyd for my collection. Really fortunate, I have 3 in 3/32 and they are crazy slicers. I have the matching knife to this in the same pattern and steel but its in curly maple. The puukos esepcially lend themselves to carving and woods tasks. Well done video would love to see a video of it in use even if its in the yard. The 80crv2 is an awesome steel especially for carving. Right now I have aeb-l, nitro v, 52100 and 80crv2 all excellent steels

      Roland Silva I’ve owned one of his sloyds and loved it however I sold it because it was pretty much a duplicate of another knife I have. The puukko was fun to play with and use. There was an interesting learning curve. I hope to one day get to try out one in 3/32. My favorite model Adam produces is the kephary in 5/32 convex.

    Adam has some the best handles I've seen, materials & color matching are done beautifully. Can you tell a difference between that 80crv2 at 60-61, and the O1 from AS?

      @TheScrawnyLumberjack  Před 5 lety

      K Grimm I thought I would be able to but the 80crv2 holds up just as well. It might be a little less corrosion resistant that’s it.

    I just stumbled on your channel while I was looking up others. All of your videos are pretty informative! Keep up the good work! I have subscribed and look forward to new ones. I am hoping you do more backpacking and camping videos that would be awesome!

      Thanks for watching. My goal was to make more informative videos to help others in there gear buying quests. I have to remember to take the camera out on trips. I usually get lost in all the things were are doing to take out a camera and shoot.

      I try to spend a lot of time outdoors. I do hunting, Fishing, some backpacking, as well as metal detecting and my latest Hobby looking for Megalodon shark teeth. I am always looking for reviews on the latest gear that will help me make my hobbies more productive and enjoyable. CZcams videos have been invaluable to me by helping me out. I know they're not as easy to produce as most people think. What I like about your videos? there upfront and honest reviews. Again, thanks for making them!

    Just making the rounds to all the CZcams channels that I subscribe to. Wishing you an awesome Thanksgiving holiday! I'll be heading to the outer banks to do some Megalodon sharks teeth hunting then to Richmond , Virginia to do some metal detecting and Deer hunting! As long as the weather holds out I should have an awesome weekend too. :-)
    Keep up the good work on those videos!

    Thanks for the quick reply! I see no reason why your channel won't continue to grow. You do good reviews and they're very honest. So keep up the good work, I have learned a few things on some of your reviews that I did not know. And thats why I subscribed to your channel and if you ever do patreon I would definitely support you.

      Hi Rick, I haven't thought of doing patreon. I'm not looking to use these videos as a primary source of income. It would be nice in the future if the channel could pay for itself when it actually grows to the point of being able to make money. Right now I'm just doing videos when I get time between everything I'm doing. I'll try and produce more videos of camping and backpacking trips.

      @TheScrawnyLumberjack  Před 5 lety

      Hunam this was an available blade not a custom order so so it only took maybe a week. I had a custom order that took 1 year 7 months to arrive.
