      @@aldoa1988 Guadalupe is a Mary appiration. She represnts latino america. Just like the Lady of Fatima represents Portugal. They are different apparitions of different versions of Mary. Yes, Mary was middle eastern, but she is a blessing to the world and her spirit matters most. She does this for her son Jesus because Jesus is still alive in the flesh next to his Father.

    Respectfully, Indian is from India.
    Two different lands and cultures. And Columbus invaded and mistakenly thought he was in India, but actually was on the Americas.We are Indigenous, not Indian 🙏 🏕

      @Diego Alvarez Kinda of, Colombus was stubborn and an asshole, even though he knew his coordinates he assumed them to be undiscovered parts of the east indies. The Columbus spoke spanish and the word for Indigenous is "Indigen" pronounced Indi-Hen (singular person who is indigenous) and when the word became anglocized it turned into Indian but the origin of that word is different from the origin of the people living in India.

      Sacrificing humans was a sin. If Spaniards were sacrificing, it was a long time ago before they were Christians. It's true that most human civilizations sacrificed but that was in a time long before those societies became more advanced. Essentially the indigenous in Mexico lived in a Neolithic age, and when Europe was in a Neolithic age they also sacrificed but that was a long time ago.

    Her story is wrong.... major details are incorrect and way too general, the story from the primary source document, Nican Mopohua, is not what she is saying. La VIrgen is NOT mestizo, she is 100% indigenous, Mexican. Sad to watch and listen our story be told incorrectly and circulated.

The Virgin Mother of Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl was the son who became man and was born of a virgin. He came and went to the underworld to dip HIS blood in the bones of his people in the underworld. This is why when the virgin Mary appeared in Mexico millions of Natives converted they knew who she was

      Tonantzin is a term meaning beloved. It would’ve been used as an honorary title for their gods and goddesses but is now used for the Virgin of Guadalupe. She is not an Aztec goddess, she is Mary the mother of God.

    All this is very ironic for me as a Mexican, the virgin was imposed by the invaders when they won the conquest of Mexico, she was imposed to destroy those ancestral gods of our culture, that is the irony, it does not matter what we think individually, but our own. union and cultural identity.     This is disappointing. We're suppose to be dancing to OUR gods. Not to a middle eastern figure that the Europeans claimed (stole) as their own and forced it upon our ancestors.
    Huītzilōpōchtli, Tlāloc, Quetzalcoatl, Tezcatlipoca, Xōchiquetzal, and other gods and goddesses. Dance to them.
