Loved the tour. The homeowner ( Craig) has done an excellent job of arranging the things that are important to him. His dog Buddy seems to love it there too. I'd say the back porch was a plus in his decision to purchase.
Craig's "row row row your boat" comment reminded me of when I had a major surgery. I was 40 and got sent to a nursing home for physical rehab for a couple of weeks after the surgery. My elderly mother visited. She wanted to know why I wasn't out in the dining room where they were having someone singing and playing music. Well, my mother was 76 and most of the people there were 85 or 90. The music wasn't even from her generation, nevermind mine! Lol Let's just say that I know where Craig is coming from on that one!
Something to think about is if you have a building that you can put in a store for the community and outside the community to shop. It would be a consignment store so as people move to the community they can sell stuff they don't need anymore as they downsize. Open it up to the public so that other towns can shop there too. I love this tiny home community concept and wish I could put one in near me in Southwestern Ontario Canada.
Then it would not be a, "Private Community"... If I lived there as an elderly person I would not want outsiders coming in like that. It takes away from that feel of safety. A consignment store where the residents can take nice, clean, laundered garments, knick-knacks, etc as such to be sold amongst just them sounds nice though... And then another thot of possibly even a small store that could poss carry bare necessity food items. etc, not a massive groc store, but something like some campgrounds have on their property to carry milk, bread, eggs, few vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, lettuce, deli meats... when you run out of the main items... but there again that would be getting into a lot of red tape. Anyway I love seeing these Tiny Homes.

Lovely cozy home Craig, good luck on the job search... How about management at the home depot? Would get a discount on needed building supplies... Win win.. And they must be always hiring in the medical field. Good luck with the Reno's... And yes, unseasonably cold winter this year. We are out west, and for some reason often have tandom weather bouts... We had snow and cold snap same timing... But we are north, so quite a bit colder.... The coldest weather we have ever had here. Glad you and buddy are settling in nicely, need a community store/coffee shop, so residents can connect all year

Bring back the community telephone book . Where it will list your neighbors and what they do. Like work or retired if single.. plus, what about sewing? You know if I lived there. I sew I am a retired interior designer plus bulider, painter faux , cabinets, I love watching you guys!! You guys are very entertaining!!! At the same time, you are creating tiny homes is the way to go!!!!!
Yes, listing hobbies or interests can help create connections in the community. Maybe a "residents tab" on the main ITH website... Where residents would have the password to log in. Each person could fill out their profile info as they see fit, with as little or as much info as they are comfortable with
The best part of this video is that this good soul saved the dog from death and gave him a loving good life. And lady, lose that accent and you don’t need a dog if you leave them outside. Horrid!
LOVE these tours, and seeing how pleasant it is living in a tiny house with a close-knit community feeling. Craig's house is lovely and so functional, especially with the two doors and the deck off the back. The lift-top dining table is a clever idea, as well as so much of the storage. I'm wondering, if the bathroom door had been a barn door, could he have added the storage onto it? Thanks for sharing your home with us!

That was wonderful! Get an efficient wall panel heater, a fleece blanket, fleece sweat pants & a jacket to get through the winters in comfort. Buddy can get a fleece jacket, too. That's what we do here in Oregon where it's colder. LOVE your kitchen❣️

Those paintings are real places! She painted "Motif #1", which is the red fishing shack on the wharf at the end of my street in Rockport, MA. It was dubbed Motif #1 by an art teacher here whose students all painted that building. Love it!

I enjoy seeing the inside of a man’s house. Craig is very organized. I can’t believe he just moved in in November and is ready to do a tour by the end of January. Great job. I’m on the beach in a wooden RJO and have to say I’m kind of jealous of all the magnetic shelves and what not available. My husband and I bought a 11.6’ x 36’ tiny house and placed it on the coast of NC. It had two lofts and was beautiful. We had it for 5 years and sold it last August. These homes are selling like hotcakes! They make great vacation getaways.

I love his dog has a friend visiting (ACE), that is hysterical...Amanda, you crack me up with the Row, Row, Your Boat comment, you are such a Quick Wit. I love it when u laugh and smile it cracks me up. What a fun tour. I would love this layout. I would put my pups potty pad on back deck. I made one from Fresh Patch has a metal tray, the bigger one (drill holes in bottom) and then I buy the fake grass from Lowe's/Home Depot and change it out every month or two. I used pheromone spray to get him to use it the first time. Maybe his pup would like that in winter.
Awe this is what I would love to do in Utah. Please come here. I send Tim information on rules in Utah and where there is property. I would love to get a ITH incredicottage. We have all four seasons here and it would be so fun to have a community like ITH has.
Greg has the best spot in the whole place.He has the trees,the vegetation and the beautiful mountain view and still has the open space.Also he has the trail right at his doorstep.Yet he can just pull right in and there he's home!
Oh and Buddy the dog. I have a rescue . But from people. Sadie she was 3 weeks old. I bottle fed. Sadie is now 12 yrs. Old. My baby. And I'd love to meet Craig and Buddy. I totally understand the best friend deal. I wish I could come home and visit tiny homes. 😢

I love it when u laugh and smile it cracks me up. What a fun tour. I would love this layout. I would put my pups potty pad on back deck. I made one from Fresh Patch has a metal tray, the bigger one (drill holes in bottom) and then I buy the fake grass from Lowe's/Home Depot and change it out every month or two. I used pheromone spray to get him to use it the first time. Maybe his pup would like that in winter.
Awe this is what I would love to do in Utah. Please come here. I send Tim information on rules in Utah and where there is property. I would love to get a ITH incredicottage. We have all four seasons here and it would be so fun to have a community like ITH has.

Greg has the best spot in the whole place.He has the trees,the vegetation and the beautiful mountain view and still has the open space.Also he has the trail right at his doorstep.Yet he can just pull right in and there he's home!

Oh and Buddy the dog. I have a rescue . But from people. Sadie she was 3 weeks old. I bottle fed. Sadie is now 12 yrs. Old. My baby. And I'd love to meet Craig and Buddy. I totally understand the best friend deal. I wish I could come home and visit tiny homes. 😢

That's what the ponds do... the pumper truck hooks up at that water source. That's how it's done in the country, all over the nation.
