This is a fantastic performance. The difference between run of the mill performance and the really top performances is energy and this has it in spades. This is an example of instrument based music that could really infiltrate the top 40 and claim it back from some of the frustrating artists and music who currently occupy that space. Popular music today is poor for the most part but what's worse is that it is hardly inspiring anyone to play instruments or think creatively or with risk and that will be a real loss going forward. Let's hope King Krule persists with this sort of fantastic stuff - couldn't speak more highly of this performance.
Agree, I keep coming back to this performance but what happened to this energy from King Krule? I feel like everything he’s released since is purposefully ‘anti energy’ or maybe he’s still recovering from this performance??! Anyway I’m disappointed.

The whole new album is a stroke of genius, would of been interesting to have been in the studio when they laid it down! don't get why people would put hate comments for this, people need to recognise something special even if its not there preferd genre. need some bird feed to get them out there holes!
I prefer the old version they were preforming a few months ago tbh. Where the bass player’s vocal delivery was a bit more of a yell and the song as a whole was a tad more aggressive. Was pretty disappointed by the CDQ. Otherwise pretty cool performance. Album fucking slaps too.
