Air-cooled Volkswagens, trucks, Mopars, yard toys... with family involvement, no drama, clean language, and a desire to be charitable... I'M IN! Subscribed.
It feels nice to have a chance to be a part of a channel like this from the beginning. Glad to be one of the early subscribers. Welcome to CZcams 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Garth I was having a great cup of coffee this morning and ran into your new channel. Your video made that coffee so much better because you are the image I have of people when America was great. I loved everything you said and subscribed as soon as I could. I am almost 70 years old and I respect so much what you and your daughters are doing. Let me say too that I am sorry for the loss of your wife. She would be proud of what you are teaching and doing with your daughters. God bless America buddy you are the America I want. Good luck with the channel!!!!
I second that sir. I just found this gentleman's channel this morning and was impressed right away. You can tell this guys got heart and soul and some class. Now I have to watch the rest of his videos and Yes I did subscribe!
My Granddad and uncle started me working on the same stuff out in the old barn when I was a kid. They loved it and so did I. A lot of the work done was free for neighbors because we had a good set up and enjoyed helping others when not on the clock. I learned more than just auto repair from that. You're doing the right thing. Thanks, best wishes, and Subscribed.
About 99% of the vehicles, gocarts, fourwheelers and other toys have always had gummed up carbs. Easy fix and flip and fun projects. I look forward to watching your vids
Welcome to CZcams, Triple G! Glad to hear you're family friendly since I'm a father of two and a car guy! I'm very interested in seeing how the old cars end up, and the Ghostbusters Bug and VW Thing are awesomely unique! I hope to see more of your channel, and wish much success for your family! 🇺🇸💪
Looks like an interesting channel, i'm a vw guy x 30 years, bought my 68 karmann ghia from katy tx, can't wait to see how you fix up the thing, always wanted 1 but never able to buy one.
I became a VW kid after seeing Herbie for the first time in the early 80s and ended up having 6 Beetles before I could even drive. The Thing has sadly been chopped up past the stage of restoration, so we'll probably be turning it into a 'Rat-Thing'!
love the 90s model chevy . my dad got a 97 z71 white with blue interior push button 4wd fully loaded . just so we could go to the mx track back in 2000 . i started driving it in 03 and still drive it to the mx track every weekend .
Was touched by your video introduction. I am a widower as well. I wish you all the best as you raise your kids and venture out into this CZcams world. I will be watching your videos when they come out.
I was surfing around You tube this evening and found your channel and hope to see a lot more because your heart is in the right place. I very much applaud you! I also think your projects are very inspiring. So bless you and keep up the good work.
Can't wait to see your future videos, I would be interested to know what other CZcams car channels you follow. SLEEPERDUDE, RevStoration, Pole Barn Garage, Vice Grip Garage and Junkyard Digs are my favorites ✌❤🙏
I am Garth I just found a channel. I like your vision for your channel and I think you’re going to be successful. I can’t believe people in your area put go carts out on the side of the road. I am 56 years old and I find things on the side of the road and bring them home all the time, but I have never found a go cart and that is something I have wanted since I was six years old. People keep telling me to do the same thing that they were telling you to do and that is to start a CZcams channel but I just don’t know if I should, I’m sure you’ve wondered just as I do who would really want to watch me work all day, even if it is on cool things
Just bumped into you and liked and subscribed. I like what you're saying and love your scrap. At any time and especially now it would be nice to get to a point where you can help someone out. When you are down and out even a small help feels giant because it's the first break you've had. So don't wait for a big fix, anything small will help someone needing it. But don't make it the purpose of this channel either. You've shown some great fun projects I want to see built. Good luck. It comes to those who are good. I can think of a few channels that have done well because they are good to their family and friends who they include and it's a nice change from that stupid Hollywood world.
Sounds like you’re going to be successful in CZcams. I’ll be here for the journey, loved watching Cleetus in his driveway not that long ago. Keep being kind.
Just saw the video, great to see a local hill country family start up a down to earth real deal channel that helps kids to aspire to a career in the automotive industry.
First off your wife and daughter getting in on your dreams is amazing! I'm quite happy to find a new channel with this content. I'm slightly envious as you have what I dream about. I have plans and I will give my all to accomplish them. I will get myself a shop and it will be the best day of my life. What I'm trying to say is thank you for some inspiration.
This will be my 2nd Channel that I watched that is family orienand it's a breath of fresh air. I watch super dude, Very family oriented and it is a young family with 3 kids. Looking forward to what you post
Very cool! I have done this all my life, I just never kept any more than about 2 projects around at one time. Oh, the regrets I have for letting some of those go... Currently working on an old Jeep right now. I’m anxious to see what you do with that Baja Bug! One of my favorite channels on CZcams is 2vintage, and I think that you could be just as entertaining as that guy, if not more. Good luck!
Welcome to CZcams. I hope you'll consider attending the No Name Nationals, an event designed just for content creators. You and your rides would fit right in. And yes, the No Name Nationals is a family friendly event!
Just stumbled across your channel recently. The Falcon revival. I like the way you explain everything in plain language. And take your time. I'm a father of two daughters as well. Retired, in California. In my late 60's. Like to tinker on things. Currently spending a lot of time on a running '55 Chevy pickup. Doing things to it that I used to pay other folks to do for me. Learning a lot from you and other You Tube channels. Good luck! I look forward to more of your features. Like, and subscribe always 👍
i subbed.. you have the family, the shop, and the projects... my only advice is to stick with only car type stuff and NEVER GIVE YOUR HONEST OPINION ON ANYTHING... until you get over 100K subs.. NEVER THINK YOU ARE FAMOUS and dont get TOO friendly with the people in the comments,,,,,,,money dont matter.. its all about interesting content.. dont go too much into detail... no one cares.. ask me how i know
I like the idea of keeping it relatable. Some of the channels that began in a field now have lifts and builds that are completely outside of the common guys budget. And that's where they lost me. I found myself HOOKED on the forensic inspections of what the previous owner left inside. Like opening a time capsule. Another aspect, was the empathy a car guy feels for a neglected rig with potential. The inspiration part, comes from the relatability of, "I could do that now that I know how" factor.. Personally. I prefer restoring something with character I bought for $1200 that is worth 15 when I'm done with it but don't want to sell it because it runs perfectly when something new would take 10 years to pay off.. Those are the reasons we get hooked on builds. Thanks for what you're doing. I subscribed. Looking forward to checking out your projects. BTW Do the dragster first!! The 5 year old in me can't wait!
Right on brother ,you had me at Chevy Luv . Had a buddy that had one back in highschool and it was just cool. Look forward to your projects and ... Long live the IROC Z.. 😎 take care and God bless. 🇺🇸
Welcome to CZcams bud. Im like you running a channel of my own with similar goals. Glad to be apart of the start of your Channel. Cool ride's man. That bug is sweet, and that Heavy Half is CLEAN. I'm Mopar guy myself so def be waiting on the mopar build and will be watching the others for sure. Subbed and liked.
Just ran across your video/channel. Your goal sounds awesome, and I’m in , I’m now subscribed. I wish ya luck and I’ll be watching whatever you come up with. 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What caught my attention was the thumbnail of this video. In my 20's I had a GMC truck with the exactly same colors. It had the 454 big block but I sold it just before I got married. I'm 68 now and I miss that truck. Look forward to seeing your GMC truck from time to time... I'm subscribed amigo and look forward to all of your future builds !!!!
Wow! This is your first video? Posted 2 weeks ago and you're already at 3.3k subs . That awesome man and you got another subscriber right. Can't wait for the builds 🤟
I subscribed and I’ll be watching!! I enjoy the same stuff. I am recently retired and have thought about starting a youtube channel because I have heard the same as you. That being said, I don’t think I would have enough content. I am slow! Anyway, looking forward to checking out your channel. Thanks for doing the videos. Stay safe and good luck.
Looking forward to this channel. I can tell you will do great . And your ideas and willingness to help others is an awesome characteristic to possess. 👍🏻👍🏻🤜🏻
Awesome channel can't wait to see future projects. And your video and audio quality is great. I bet your on track to get 10,000 subs in the next 3 months if you keep adding videos. My first dirt bike was a neighbor pissed off his bike wasn't running right. put a bunch of new parts on it and I heard him yell and kick the bike to the curb and I asked him if I could have it he agreed. In less than an 2 hours later I was riding it pass his house. it had clogged peacock he had coated the fuel tank since it was metal. His face was priceless when I passed by.
You def need a CZcams channel. Ha! I like these this type of content, so I’m gonna subscribe, hope you keep interesting vids coming. The auto inventory you show looks like you have some fun projects for us. Let’s go.
Little late to the party but awesome channel. I like that you include your family in your videos. Wish I had the same childhood growing up but life doesn’t always work out that way. Looking forward to seeing future stuff!
When I was in highschool, none of this was taught. In fact, when I was in, the budgets for shop and automotive were getting slashed almost to nothing. My little sister confirmed that shop and automotive are extinct here.
