Yoru asks Fami if she can use her powers, but Fami's silence says it all - she's not going to. Katana Man confuses Fami for Yoru and accidentally reveals that Fami's poetry collection will be on sale next month. Nail Fiend asks if Katana Man is a fan of Asa's work, but he denies it, saying the world's current state is because of his worship, not fandom. Nail Fiend jokes about them falling asleep, but Katana Man warns he'll seem like a "bad guy" if he keeps it up. Nail Fiend mocks Katana Man for being a former mobster, but their comrade orders them to kill the student.
Quick on her feet, Asa tells Katana Man they're there to fight Chainsaw Man, confusing everyone. Asa reveals Chainsaw Man has been nearby the whole time. Another member of Public Safety tries to make Katana Man and Nail Fiend obey by promising to fulfill their dreams, but they refuse. Nail Fiend dislikes killing kids, and Katana Man lives to kill Chainsaw Man.
The agent admits his wife was right and regrets joining the special division before vanishing, promising to send someone else to fight while they go see Chainsaw Man. Yoru calls Public Safety cowards, and Haruka regrets her decision to fight Chainsaw Man. Yoru agrees with Katana Man's dedication to the fight, joking that she's already stealing his spotlight.
