I am dying for you to read Scythe!!! It's a trilogy and one of my favorites EVER. The way he writes the characters makes them seem so real and well developed. a 6 star series for me
I have a question why is there a book that is the 3.5 book in the series? Do u read it after?
@@SupremeBladers yes you read that one after you finish the trilogy. the storyline gets finished in the third book but then that 3.5 book is a bunch of short stories taking place in the Scythe world just giving more insight

All of the books seem so exciting!! Divine Rivals is probably one of my favourite reads of 2023, you definitely need to read that! Also, the sequel is coming out in a month 🥰

Most would say the best place to start with Brandon Sanderson is the mistborn series, I started with skyward though and it was amazing! Warbreaker is also a good one because it's a standalone, but most of them take place in the same universe :)
I loved Divine Rivals and Check & Mate, Sinner’s Isle is one of my most anticipated books this year. I’m excited to read Didn’t See That Coming
I've read two Brandon Sanderson books. The first Mistborn book and Tress of the Emerald Sea, and I would highly recommend both of them. Especially Tress of the Emerald Sea. It's princess bride retelling! It's so good, and it's one of my five-star reads!!!
I have wanted to buy his leather bound editions for a long time, but 100$ for an unsigned edition may be too much

I read Steelheart about 5-6 years ago and I loved it! I recently reread it and it still hit so hard! I think it’s a perfect jumping off point for you into his writings. Hope you like it! ❤❤❤❤

The reckoners series is amazing and I’m absolutely obsessed with it and the romance is amazing! I haven’t gotten around to finishing the last book yet but I devoured the first 2!

Omg the infernal devices books you’re unhauling are STUNNING! I would suggest keeping Auroras End and The Bone Witch. I love all Jay Kristoffs books and that wasn’t a disappointment. The Bone Witch was also a surprisingly amazing book!
Btw fantasy romance is called romantacy (my English teacher recently told me that)
all Sanderson books are great!! if you like superheroes start with Steelheart, if you like Star Wars start with skyward and if you like fantasy start with The Final Empire

Steelheart is a good spot to start with Brandon Sanderson. But if you want to get into the Cosmere (the universe that crosses many series of his) Tress of the Emerald Sea is the best place to start! Hope you love Brandon Sanderson books they are amazing!
I’m currently reading one of Brandon Sanderson’s young adult sci-fi called Skyward, and it’s incredible, easy world building and fast paced. I highly recommend you read this book first because BS is known to have high fantasy and it is DENSE, and Skyward is so much fun and easy to read

I got my Way through the Ken Follett Book of the Kingsbridge Series (Book 2) and also the German Book of AERA from Markus Heitz.
Now i got my Way in the 3rd Book of the The Great Way Saga from Harry Connolly. Well ... i have to admit i did not read the
first 2 books of the Saga so there is missin a big piece of the Story. But i hope to get in the Story anyway :)

I am a huge Brandon Sanderson fan. He has created a universe called 'Cosmere' where most of his books takes place. Steelheart is not a part of Cosmere. I have personally only read the Cosmere books so far, but I think it's fine that you start with Steelheart. However, I personally would recommend you start with his Cosmere universe, with Mistrborn trilogy and make your way from there. You can read steelheart, but I always suggest Mistborn as the introduction to Sanderson because it gives a great introduction to his writing style and magic systems. And if you don't vibe with it, the first book of the Mistborn trilogy can technically be read as a standalone and you can stop right there if he isn't for you. There are many videos on CZcams telling you the correct order to read the Cosmere to not get spoiled. I hope you love him!

Steelheart is soooo cool. I think it is a perfect start to sanderson for people who dont Read high fantasy a lot. At least it was my Intro and I liked it very much.

Hey Ali if you love fantasy a lot I would recommend the fairy tale reform school series also known as the flunked series its a middle grade/y/a series and it's very underrated and I got to meet the author in person twice back when I was in elementary school so around 10 years ago and she signed my books at the time there was only 2 books out but more have come out since the author is Jen Calonita and she writes a lot of fantasy/y/a books I think you'd like it

do you recommend to read the a curse for true love series or the caraval series first?
If you want to read both definitely start with the caraval series because once upon a broken heart will spoil the caraval series. You don't have to read caraval to understand once upon a broken heart but both are great series and I think worth reading in order!! (i accidentally read them out of order and still enjoyed them tho)

Illumicrate typically only sells a limited amount of each special edition. So if I’m showing a book that you can’t find on their site then I would assume it’s sold out for good unfortunately
